Hi Skyler, thanks for joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

I’ve been the owner and an artist at Skyline Tattoo, LLC. since 2017. Since then, I’ve watched my business grow, my clientele inspire me beyond my wildest dreams, and my team ebb and flow with each year that passes. In 2022, I was in awe as I was a front seat passenger seeing my year completely book out. I’m talking as of the end of March 2022, I had barely two weeks left available for appointments for the rest of the year. I knew something needed to change in order to support my growth and business.

This past December, I decided to execute moving the business to a new location. A location that could not only house more artists to work under Skyline Tattoo, LLC., but could support newer artists taking the risk to come work with me. A location that would have the opportunity for foot traffic and is immersed in other local businesses and restaurants. I knew it would not only be a risk for me, but for the artists moving with me as well. After touring multiple store fronts and Denver neighborhoods, I found the building for the next chapter for Skyline Tattoo, LLC. Sharing a front with a pilates studio, a plethora of restaurants and coffee shops surrounding it, as well as an entirely new clientele to market to…it was as if there was a warm light beckoning me to the biggest risk I was about to take since being a business owner.

February 1st, 2023 Skyline Tattoo, LLC. takes the risk of moving from suburbia to Denver proper. Although only time will tell what amounts of this risk, I have nothing but pride and excitement for this next step coming to life. I’d always imagined expanding my business and brand, but now that it is around the corner it’s almost surreal. I cannot wait to come back and share with CanvasRebel and it’s readers where this journey leads. What I can say as of this moment in time is I know I am right where I need to be on my path as artist and business owner of Skyline Tattoo, LLC.

Skyler started his career tattooing in 2014 after attending the Art Institute of Colorado and graduating from The Denver Body Art School. Skyler established Skyline Tattoo in 2017 with the vision to cater to a more private and luxurious style of tattooing. He takes pride in delivering the highest quality tattoo performance, and accommodating any and all clientele searching for excellent tattoo work.

Skyline Tattoo, LLC. is a unique, luxury and custom tattoo studio located in Aurora, CO. The artists begin as apprentices taught one on one with owner and tattoo veteran, Skyler Jafferis. What makes Skyline Tattoo, LLC. stand out from the rest is the friendly, warm and sparkling, clean atmosphere. Booking by appointment only gives clients a different type of tattoo experience in private rooms.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

The most effective strategy I’ve used over the years for growing my clientele is Google and Google Business. Whenever I meet someone in person interested in getting a tattoo, I take pride in telling that person to Google Skyline Tattoo, LLC. and see the multitude of five star reviews from actual clients. I ensure quality and professional work for anyone walking through our doors. This leads to our clients graciously giving us their time for their glowing reviews. As of 2023, we have over 120 reviews, in which every single one is five stars. With internet and social media becoming more and more the norm for finding businesses to work with, I continue to strive for perfection on Google, and anywhere else we can be reviewed!

Skyline Tattoo, LLC.’s reputation was built solely on professionalism. I ensure every single employee understands we are not like the stereotypical tattoo shop on the street.
