We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sirozh Tursunov. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sirozh below.
Sirozh, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I’ve always loved building things fast — especially tools that feel magical to users. The idea for our platform came after I noticed a growing trend: people wanted to create games, apps, or visual content without any coding skills — but existing solutions were either too basic or too complex.
At the same time, I was experimenting with generative AI and realized: what if we let users describe what they want, and the system builds it instantly — whether it’s a game, a bot, or a visual asset? It felt like unlocking superpowers for creators.
The turning point was when we launched a simple prototype on X — within a few days, over 500 games were created. That traction validated everything. It wasn’t just a fun idea — it solved a real pain: people want to create fast, without limits. And that’s exactly what we built.
Sirozh, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m an indie founder and ex-engineer with a background in building viral AI-powered apps and tools. Over the last few years, I’ve launched multiple products that reached millions of users — including apps like Explode AI (video effects), Rizzler (dating assistant), NoProblem (homework helper), and GameDevil (creating games by a prompt).
My passion lies in creating things fast — tools that make people go “wow” within seconds. I focus on AI, mobile, and no-code experiences that feel magical yet simple.
What sets me apart? Speed, intuition, and obsession with user delight. I don’t just build products — I test them live, talk to real users, and iterate relentlessly. I’m proud of growing some of my apps to $100K+ MRR without outside funding — just by solving real problems and leveraging organic growth.
If there’s one thing I want people to know: I believe tools should be fast, fun, and empowering. That’s what I build.
Have you ever had to pivot?
We spent four intense months building LangDay — an AI-powered English learning app with virtual tutors. It was smart, thoughtful, and technically solid. But traction was slow. Users liked it, but no one loved it.
One weekend, almost as a joke, we built a fun side project — Explode AI — where users could upload a photo and apply wild video effects. One of them let you blow up an object in the image. Another? It could instantly change someone’s outfit with a tap. We posted it on TikTok.
It exploded. Within days, we had thousands of users and paying subscribers. That moment made us rethink everything. We realized: it’s not always the most “clever” product that wins — it’s the one that sparks emotion fast.
We pivoted hard. LangDay was put on hold, and we went all-in on fun, viral AI tools. That shift taught us to follow traction over perfection — and never underestimate the power of play.
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
I met my cofounder Aleksander over 10 years ago — we were both studying engineering and constantly throwing around startup ideas. What started as side experiments soon turned into real products.
We’ve now built more than 7 projects together — 4 of which hit product-market fit. What makes our partnership work is extreme speed, mutual trust, and total alignment on one thing: launch fast, talk to users, and iterate like crazy.
When we built LangDay, then Explode AI, and now GameDevil — we knew exactly how to divide responsibilities and move without friction. We don’t waste time arguing over small things — we just build and ship. That trust has been key to surviving tough moments and jumping on unexpected opportunities.
Good cofounders are like co-pilots. You don’t need to talk much, but you need to fly in sync.
