Sione, appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?

First of all I’m C1 and I truly believe I’m one of the best singer songwriter in the world right now even tho the world don’t kno me yet. If my voice was at a hunnit, hands down I’m the best lol fr Well I guess You can say this was a big challenge and a big risk at the same time Kinda lol Russ is a famous rapper with a good voice and the style he brings is dangerous. Early last year My little brother brought up to me that RUSS was releasing a song a week at that time. I think he was bouta drop the 5th song that week . Prior to this mission, I honestly didn’t have any remixes out at all, I had I think 17 original songs out too 💯 anyways the The plan was to impress RUSS and his team enough to sign me. I Literally switched my whole grind to stomping on Russellsworths songs every time they dropped. Straight up remix the whole cutt, my style literally a whole new song!!! I don’t copy nobody style, I bring a dangerous wave myself You’ll see when y’all check our catalogs on SoundCloud starting with my remix “satisfy”. All my STOMPREMIX were released 1-2 daysafter Russ would drop. But see He’s lucky my voice was maybe 60% so my style sound like a rapper singer kinda couldn’t and still can’t really hit any hi notes, my falsetto been gone. Don’t matter I still went innnnnn 🙏🏽💯 Basically I dm him hella crazy lol if I remember right I said I’m C1 and I’ma stomp on every cutt u drop the same week. Im pretty sure I came off as a asshole for sure. So I was just on IG every day same as him commenting on all his posts all that shit just to get him to actually listen to my sound. Week after week song after song I noticed he was starting to watch my storys everyday and he was actually feeling my style. Nobody kno this shit but prolly at the time he dropped Italy , I’d say we prolly 5-6 songs in back to back that Whole entire time I have Hella DM to him and questions and shit but no reply at all, low key was pissing me off soo In my STOMPREMIX for his song Italy was I kinda took shots at him lyrically. I went harddd lol y’all gone see like I said. On top of that me having to design a whole new banger, recording and releasing it that same week with a lyric Music video I personally edited and shot myself. But yea in Russ story’s he’d low key send messages to me like when I dropped the remix for Italy, he sippin or some with bugus his right hand and said “how u gonna talk mad shit wen u wanna be signed “. There was hella to it but ye we started off on the wrong foot. Each song I remixed literally writing real shit if u listen you can hear whatever I was goin thru lol long story Short It didn’t go the way I wanted. What I got from that mission on Russ was in the end he wanted to be the one who discovered me C1 and not c1 who came outa nowhere and was legit hanging with Russ week after week banger for banger is what I kept saying.

Names Sione Vasi I go by C1DUH I’d say I am a genius when it comes to song design or singin in general, best when my voice is at 💯 if u were to toss me in the studio with the top 5 best singer songwriters to design a Banger (hit song) I bet that project would be almost 100% killt by me. Just cuhz I kno nobody would argue with what melodies or flow I come up with. I’m the Beatkillah LALALA

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Yea. Main mission is to make it in this music game so I can make life a little easier for my parents while they’re still here with me. That’s all really

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

My pops health ain’t too good so I’m here to do all the things for my pop because he unable to. I’m tryin my best to be consistent with my music but at the same time keep my pop alive to see me make it for our famili. I’m the 1st generation for our famili to be born in the US. Trynna set good footing for our kinfolk after me like my pops did for us
