Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Simone Ilic. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Simone , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I went for one year to a holistic school as a health-and life coach as well as a rawvegan chef. After this time I used to help my teacher at several vegan fairs.
One day at one of this fairs I just got the idea of making vegan and sugar free ice cream.
So I started immediately this journey and worked on it.



Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
After I was diagnosed with the Thyroid disease “Hashimoto”, I figured out that a change of my diet could help to get my health back. And so it happened – I got completely recovered with a strict rawvegan diet, mostly based on coconuts, wild plants and fruits.
My first idea actually was to open a rawfood cafe but afterwards I got the idea for ice cream, I decided to open a store with ice cream and other rawvegan desserts.
This was very risky because it’s a niche product and had no idea if people would accept my absolute clean food.
I trusted in my passion and the universe.



Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
The store Coco N’Ice opened in May 2021, means in a very difficult and risky time. I had to have a lot of faith in myself, my product and my passion.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My passion for absolute clean products and whole food. My costumers know that they get real stuff
