Simone, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
A defining moment that changed the trajectory of my career to become a trichologist began when I started noticing many of my clients struggling with scalp issues and hair loss. As a hairstylist, I felt a deep desire to help them find lasting solutions, but I realized there was a gap in the industry for specialized scalp care. Then, it happened to me – I began experiencing scalp issues myself. This personal struggle intensified my desire to understand the link between scalp health and hair growth. Motivated by both my clients’ needs and my own experiences, I decided to pursue formal training in trichology. This led me to transition from hairstylist to trichologist, where I could offer tailored solutions for healthier scalps and hair, helping others overcome the same challenges I once faced.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a trichologist and scalp care specialist dedicated to helping individuals overcome scalp disorders and hair loss. My journey into trichology began through my experience as a hairstylist, where I repeatedly saw clients struggling with scalp issues dryness, irritation, excessive shedding, thinning hair and bald patches. At the time, I could only offer temporary solutions, which left me feeling like there was more I could do. Then, I started experiencing my own scalp challenges, which pushed me to seek deeper knowledge. That’s when I discovered trichology and realized that healthy hair starts at the scalp. This led me to pursue formal training, transitioning from hairstylist to trichologist, with a mission to provide real, lasting solutions.
Now, through my practice, I offer a range of specialized scalp treatments designed to restore scalp health and support hair regrowth. My Scalpcial treatments focus on deep cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and therapeutic techniques such as light therapy to stimulate hair follicles. I also offer virtual consultations for clients who may not be able to visit in person but still need expert guidance on their scalp concerns. In addition to treatments, I’m exploring innovative solutions to help those dealing with hair loss from various conditions.
What sets me apart is my holistic, science backed approach to scalp care. I don’t just treat the symptoms I work to address the underlying causes, helping clients develop customized regimens for long-term scalp and hair health. I’m also passionate about education, ensuring my clients understand how to care for their scalp beyond their appointments.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the transformation I’ve been able to witness in my clients. Seeing someone regain confidence after struggling with hair loss is incredibly rewarding. My goal is to continue expanding my reach through in-person treatments, virtual consultations, and eventually, my own line of scalp-focused products. I want my clients and followers to know that healthy hair is possible and with the right care, they can restore and maintain their scalp health.
Through Simone Eddie Trichology, I’m here to change the way people think about scalp care because when your scalp thrives, so does your hair.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Absolutely. If I could go back, I would choose the same profession without hesitation. While I’ve always loved being a hairstylist, transitioning into trichology allowed me to make a real, lasting impact on my clients’ lives by addressing the root causes of their scalp and hair concerns.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Passion for helping others, patience, and adaptability are essential for success in trichology. The industry is constantly evolving with new research and treatments, so staying informed allows me to provide the best solutions for my clients. My passion for helping others drives me to go beyond surface level treatments and truly address the root causes of scalp issues and hair loss. Many clients come to me after trying multiple unsuccessful treatments, so patience and compassion are key in guiding them through the process. I also prioritize adaptability and staying up to date on the latest innovations. Success in this field isn’t just about what I already know it’s about growing, evolving, and providing the best possible care for my clients.
