Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Silvio Amata. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Silvio, thanks for joining us today. What’s been one of the most interesting investments you’ve made – and did you win or lose? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
Hello guys, first of all thank you for having us.
The best investment we’ve made, and continue to make, is dedicating time to researching and connecting with talented artists around the world for collaboration.
From the beginning of the label, it was clear that finding artists who are not only technically skilled but also open to discussing the intricate aspects of music production would be essential for the growth of the label. It’s not just about the music they make; it’s about the conversations and creative exchanges that fuel new ideas and push boundaries. This approach has led to the creation of exciting new music for the label, and it has reinforced the importance of investing in relationships that go beyond the surface. The lesson learned is that time spent on cultivating these partnerships pays off not only in terms of music quality but in building a strong foundation for the label’s future.
So definitely, our best investment it was, is and always will be the human relationship with the artist

Silvio, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have been passionate about electronic music since I was a kid. In 2009 Andrea Mazza, my fellow countryman and veteran of the industry, contacted me to collaborate with him in the field of radio, music production and podcast creation. Over time I came into contact with many artists from all over the world and became part of the insiders in a definitive way. In 2018 a friend contacted me with the intention of creating a digital label that would offer electronic music mainly trance, progressive and later deep prog and melodic techno too. This friend is my current partner Tomak and that is how our “creature” was born, which we decided to call Antima Music. In 2024 we decided to add a third member to our work group, Lexenn, to further expand our work and vision for the label.
One of the key priorities at Antima Music is providing clear responses and feedback to the demos we receive from the artist and doing so quickly. We understand how frustrating it can be when other labels ignore artists’ submissions. That’s something we aim to change. We pride ourselves on our responsiveness and the positive feedback we’ve received from artists as a result. This is one of the main things that sets us apart from other labels in the industry.
What We Want People to Know About Us? Simply! We want everyone to know that we dedicate our hearts and souls to this label, even though it isn’t our full-time job. Our commitment is serious, we’ve made and we do many sacrifices to build what we have today. Surely, one of the greatest moments of pride for us has been receiving support from Armin van Buuren it’s a recognition that fills us with pride and reminds us that all the effort we’ve put in over the years has truly paid off.
Personally, I have to admit that I feel the greatest pride and happiness when an artist writes to me privately that they are happy with how we give space and importance to their work, complimenting us on how we manage the label.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Our mission at Antima Music is to help emerging and talented artists grow and gain visibility. There are many small to mid-level artists out there who are incredibly skilled but struggle to break through and get the recognition they deserve. Our goal is to provide these artists with the platform and support they need to showcase their work to a wider audience. Of course, we’re also focused on elevating the prestige and visibility of our label, but at the heart of it all is a commitment to fostering new talent and giving them the opportunity to shine.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect for us would be to reach a point where the world’s top artists recognize our work and invite us to perform alongside them at major festivals. Being on the same stage with some of the biggest names in the industry would be a dream come true, and it would signify that all the effort we’ve poured into the label has truly paid off. But it’s not just about the prestige; it’s about bringing Antima Music into these global events, elevating our label’s visibility, and showcasing the incredible talent of the artists we work with.
Receiving positive feedback from such influential artists about what we’ve built with the label would be incredibly fulfilling, and knowing that our work is respected and appreciated at the highest level of the industry would be the ultimate reward. This recognition would not only validate our efforts but also open doors for our artists, providing them with even more opportunities to shine on the global stage. Ultimately, it’s this combination of recognition, collaboration with top-tier artists, and the ability to propel our label to new heights that would be the most gratifying aspect of our creative journey.
