SILENT, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
My most recent project Noisy Boulevard is the most meaningful project I’ve worked on. I wrote it in a state of depression and self doubt! So much was going on around me from losing relationships to falling out with family and friends. It was a very emotional time of my life and I sowed every ounce of pain and sadness into those songs and transformed it in a way that comes out positive and uplifting! Definitely some of my best work. It means alot to me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
i went into fostercare at the age of 14 for child in need of care. I was dealing with alot. One day a friend of mine in middle school who noticed I did crossword puzzles all the time to keep my mind off things, asked if i could rap. I said no and he offered to teach me. I ended up learning how to rap and started using it as a means to vent. A few Years later I aged out of fostercare dropped out of highschool cuz I was tired of being under the systems rules and started working. I got my Diploma from the diploma completion program here in Lawrence 3-4 months after I dropped out. After that I started playing basketball at the ELC 8 hours a day cuz I all my friends were at school and I was overweight and I wanted to change that. One day I was playing a pickup game of basketball when I met these two guys who were in a rap group called Samurai! They were working on a song on the bench and I walked over and asked em what they were doing and they told me about their rap group. I asked if I could join and they said yeah. I was a hype man starting out then we started adding more members to the group, I got on my first feature, then wrote my first full song. I was with them for 2 years then the group fell out and most of us started doing our own thing. Flash forward a few years and big shows later and Lawrence High School the school I dropped out of invites me to be a Guest Speaker for a class of 70+ JAG-K students. It was amazing. This is when I first realized I could do more than just rap. I had a bigger purpose. I always try to leave a message in my music cuz I know how powerful it is and can help people get through tough times and heal emotionally. I started experimenting with genres I moved on to rock and now country. It’s been a wild ride but i wouldn’t change a thing. So far in my career I’ve been on 2 Independent National Tours Across the USA and I’ve performed at the Biggest Venue in My Hometown in front of a Sold out Crowd. I’ve met my idols and even have some of their phone numbers. If you’re reading this, my biggest piece of advice is never give up on your dreams. Ever. 💪🤘🎸🙌🙏
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I want to help the world heal and create a positive change through music. Maybe world peace one day! We’ll see 🙏🙌

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Hearing the stories of how my music has saved people’s lives and seeing people have a good time with a smile on their face just vibing to something I created. That’s the biggest reason I will never quit.
