Sikeithia, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

Soo funny my store name literally speaks for its self. With the help of my latest son father . He was actually a popular upcoming artist and he would always say to me girls would always ask him why do he date me because im taller and plus-size female. Ive always had much confidence in myself being plussize. So i changed the narrative of the question why her? And made my store name Y-Her plusszie clothing , because if not me then who?? Soo there we have it yher? Why not?!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Sikeithia Morris, also known as KEKE, the owner of Yher Plus Size Clothing boutique in Atlanta, Georgia. My brand caters to sizes xl-5x in plus size clothing, swimwear, and all women’s Accessories . The name “Yher” was given to Me by My late son’s father, who was often to asked “Why her? In his dating life with me. My response Why not me?” I turned my depression of losing my son father into pure motivation and launched my Plussize Clothing business in memory of my son’s father and my Bestfriend whom was a fashion designer as well. It hasn’t been an easy journey, as it is challenging to find good quality plus size clothing that fits all body types. However, i hustles like no other to ensure my customers are satisfied, and my customers appreciate my customer service and authenticity. Yher Plus Size Clothing has been featured on a downtown billboard, as well as New York Time Square Bill Board. and i am currently working on a big project to bring My brand to more locations. I am also a mother of two boys and a jack of all trades, specializing in being a breath of fresh air for others. I am not afraid to take risks, and my biggest motivation is my angels watching over me. fast forward 2022 i started a plussize model group called the yher dollz. Selves. We have been booked for photo shoots, we have features in video shoots ( Baddest Rebel- Go Big Girl) as well as fashion shows !

Any advice for managing a team?

Always get clarity on what it is you expecting from an individual.as a group leader we must lead by example. Everyone has different personalities and perspectives on things. What I’m learning if I listen and give options its better for the team to come to an agreement .

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

Yes ,, so selling clothing for plussize women’s was definitely a thing i like to do on the side. As i got into sewing and making items that i could wear to show off my clothing line things was just gettin started there. My key milestones were staying consistent!! Posting my items daily even without sales! Promoting myself and my brand everywhere.
