Alright, Sibahan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.

We offer a home like setting for pets and their owners to feel most comfortable while staying with us. No cages, lots of cuddles and love to go around! Lots of playtime and pool time if they desire!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I got into pet sitting mostly because I was fostering dogs for local rescues. Once we would adopt out the dogs, often owners would feel comfortable with our homes and ask to come back and have a dog stay at our home while they went on vacation. I realized most people who own rescue dogs often need a safe spot where pets don’t feel abandoned. We were happy to provide that!

Lots of pet sitting companies are either hobby pet sitters or non insured or trained pet sitters. Our company proudly monitors the families who care for your pets to be sure they are cared for the way you would expect them to be cared for!

We have staff trained in first aid, CPR, administration of medications, insulin, and more. Your pets are always cared for, the way you expect them too.

We do in home boarding for your pets, which offers cage free loving environment much like your own home. It’s not fair to pets to be stressed in kennels if you are on vacation! We have lots of sunny play days at our house, pool play dates, and play ball a few times a day! The pets often come to our homes and do not want to leave!

This is not just a person business this is a family. Once you work for us, your whole family loves on your pets while you are away! We complete this with lots of photos and pictures coming your way via cell text while you are enjoying your trip!

We also have a number of team members so you never have to worry if your pets will not be cared for. In event of any emergency, your pets are always our priority and since our staff shares schedules we can easily have someone else step in to cover for the other team member if needed.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I think the most helpful thing building our market would be the constant contact we offer to our clients.

Fur babies are very important to families. They are and should be pet of the family!

We make sure we keep client s updated and make sure all the pets are safe while in our care.

There is so much that goes into safety – including but not limited too- cleaning, baby gates, aggression issues, monitoring- and once the client feels the safety precautions, they will feel comfortable with you and you can be part of their family!

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

I would say the best advice I have for a team is make sure they understand what you expect from them. Set standards you expect them to show as your business representative. They are a direct extension of what you offer to clients.

Keep high morale by making sure your team knows how important they are and how much you value the addition they provide to your business. I don’t know Of anyone who doesn’t like to hear “thank you”
