Siam, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
When I decided to become a travel advisor, one of my first challenges was deciding what business name fits my mission. Business names are very important and are the first thing a customer sees when researching a product. So I had to ask myself, What was my customer base? What did I like to do as a customer and how could the name of my business stand out amongst other businesses. throughout my life people always told me they loved my birth name, Siam, so I decided Siam would be the name of my business. It’s unique and there’s not a lot of businesses that have it so I decided I was giving it a try. While researching the name to see if it was available to use. I discovered that it is another business within the travel industry that uses Siam, So I decided to extend the name to Siam Tours and Travels. The name also describes the business and it helped me create the slogan. I used the acronym S. I. A. M. Savvy,Itineraries full of Adventurous Memories, which are the initials of the name, Siam. That’s exactly what I offer for my customers when creating their dream vacations.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi I am Siam Mason independent travel advisor and business owner of SIAM Tours and Travels. I started my business January of 2021 during the Covid pandemic. After helping a friend study for travel industry testing and realizing every service she was offering her customers for a fee was the same services that I had already been performing for friends and family at no charge. I immediately ask how I could get started and from that point on I began to work on developing my knowledge as a travel advisor in the travel industry. As part of my business, I offer advice on destinations, make travel arrangements and plan itineraries for clients. As a travel advisor I strive to make sure the clients trip goes as smoothly as possible. I also use my expertise to set the customers expectation. I use the customers preferences, budget, and needs to find them the perfect vacation itinerary form them. I provide personalized customer service to create unique experiences from beginning to end built solely around the customer. Service starts from their initial contact with me and continues until they returned home from their amazing trip. I am most proud my building new travels trips that I host once a year. These yearly trips are created for new travelers and are designed to encourage people that never thought it was possible to leave the neighborhood open doors to new experiences. New travelers attend the trip with me while I walk with them every step of the process, I access them with gaining their passport, flying/cruising for the first time, checking into the hotel/resort etc. I also accompany them on excursions during the trip. I’m there every step of the way to built their confidence in traveling. My clients have unlimited access to my to ensure that all there travel needs are met.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I find that my customers are loyal to my brand because they feel like they are part of my family. I make them feel as if they can speak to me about anything anywhere anytime. One of the ways that I go about staying in touch with my clients is using a dashboard to help personalize their experience. It keeps track of all my clients, important dates like birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions etc and I make sure that I send personalized emails and cards for those special occasions. I also provide referral fees and discount codes to my repeat customers to assist with fostering brand loyalty

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy I found so far for growing my clientele is through referrals. My clients love what I’ve done for them and proudly refer other potential clients to me.
