We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Shyretta Leanne Clark. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Shyretta Leanne below.
Shyretta Leanne, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be successful I believe that you must start with developing a plan to serve as the framework on how you are going to execute this goal. It is also very important to study and develop relationships with mentors to help you navigate. Despite what some people think, to truly level up financially in this society you have to network and make partnerships. You have to be willing to “split the pot” on deals and share ideas. You also must get from behind your computers and physically get out and shake hands with people over coffee. Phone calls and emails are good marketing tools to some extent but are very impersonal. Face to face interactions seals the deal.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My life has always been about helping others succeed and achieve goals. The majority of my professional career was spent doing just that in healthcare but now I’m helping others in the mortgage/real estate sector. I am a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer and I am mostly proud of my ability to help individuals and families achieve the goal of homeownership when others would not help them. I know that homeownership is the catalyst to true wealth building so it is really important to me that I help anyone open to learning and executing. I also love to travel abroad and write steamy novels. Stay tuned because one of those novels may be on the “big screen” soon ;-)
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I get deals done by any means necessary! I’m smart, personable, and relatable. I pride myself on being able to adapt to any surrounding I end up in without losing my true self. I do not give up easily, if at all. People need that and that’s helped me build my reputation because once I’ve done it for them, they go and tell others.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy thus far is truly a mixture of realtor referrals, social media presence and going to business mixers. It’s important to get around people that need your business. When I’m invited to real estate galas, mixers, seminars and etc, I make my best efforts to go. It is very important to be seen in this business.
