We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Shyann Price a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Shyann, appreciate you joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
It takes trust in oneself and resilience. I have seen people second guess themselves into not doing what they always wanted to do in life and convince themselves to stay stagnant. One thing I have consistently learned is no matter how hard things get I must keep trying and pushing towards the goal. It’s really a mindset thing at the end of the day. Don’t allow other people including family, project their fears onto you and create that void of uncertainty. At my lowest I kept pushing forward and never gave up. I made something terrible into something positive and honed into that. I was determined to not be the person who just complained about all of my problems, instead I did something about it. I took the risk and now I am receiving the rewards from it.


As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a Realtor and a business owner of my own organic skincare brand called Bombshell Sensations, LLC. I also have a non profit networking group called Let’s Link Collective that I throw events for the community through. The beginning of my entrepreneurship journey was back in 2020 right after Covid hit. I was pregnant with my first child and knew that I wanted to be a stay at home mom but still have my own income. I always wanted to start my own skincare brand so one day I decided to purchase some items to try to make my own soap. Next thing I know I am getting orders in real time and actually making money from it.
What sets my organic skincare brand apart from others is that we are a full service brand. This means we offer free consultations with our customers and give our customers the opportunity to create a customized product through us. I don’t know of any organic skincare brand that is doing that for their customers and offering the ability to directly communicate with the brand like we do. I have helped so many people feel confident in their skin again. Every time I get a message from a customer saying how much I have helped them, it keeps me pushing through the crazy days and warms my heart.
I am proud of myself for doing everything that I wanted to do and never allowing outside opinions deter me from my goals. As I mentioned previously, I am a Realtor and I focus on luxury homes but I also work outside of luxury as well. My nonprofit is my latest venture that I am extremely passionate about. I wanted to create a space that was comfortable for everyone, no matter what background you come from. I was sick of going to networking events that felt like you couldn’t even breathe in there without being judged. Change was needed and i wanted to do something about it. So I created Let’s Link Collective and I have had two different events since I started my non profit organization back in August 2024. Both events had a great turn out and I have had people asking me when the next event will be. So, I must be doing something right. My hope for my nonprofit is that it will be an engine to support different causes I am passionate about all while bringing the community together one event at a time.
I want my supporters as well as anyone who doesn’t know about me to understand that this is just the beginning. I have so many things planned within all facets of my life and I can’t wait to uplift others through everything I am doing. If you don’t know about me now, don’t worry you will!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I built my reputation by offering amazing customer service and support. I believe that tied in with just being a genuinely nice person to people goes a long way. It costs nothing to just say “hi” and treat people how you want to be treated. If I ever mess up on an order I make sure it’s fixed right away and also might give away a free item to make it up to the customer. Things like that matter!

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Personal contact and in person sales will always be the most effective way to market a product or service and sell it in my opinion. It’s the best way for people to get a glimpse into your personality while also having that personal touch and physically see what is being presented. As an entrepreneur and realtor, the first impression is such a crucial moment. A person knows from their initial experience with you whether or not they want to do business with you. My last tip would be for you to stay consistent on social media.
