We were lucky to catch up with Shundra Richardson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Shundra , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
Going from idea to execution is not always an easy task. The most important step is to have done research in a thorough manner and prepare for all outcomes. When you take the time to do your research your able to hypothesize various outcomes that could possibly be beneficial to your business. In my business of body care accessories it’s extremely important for me to probe and investigate plentiful options to ensure that I am obtaining the best quality for my clients.

I got into the business because I understand how crucial feeling and looking good is to ones esteem and overall happiness. What helped build the amazing reputation for Stoned In Secret would be the continuous support from clients and the affirmative expression of how great the products are.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for me has been word of mouth, I have learned that when clients are more than satisfied with their items, they are more than willing to spread the positivity around thus increasing the clientele for Stoned In Secret. Also, another big factor would be staying consistent. When people see that you are consistent they tend to be more willing to give your product a chance.
