We were lucky to catch up with Shreena Shah recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Shreena thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

You need to have a crystal clear dream, faith, need to be resilient, creative problem solver and associate with people who will guide you and cheer you.

Shreena , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I handle sinful Temptations. I mother of a beautiful daughter and the owner of several enterprises, being a mom-preneur. Society, school, and surroundings instilled in me from an early age that success entailed getting high grades, having a decent job, buying a home, and adhering to the status quo.

I had spent a few years in the corporate world, but I knew I wanted to do something unique. I believed I wasn’t born for a 9-to-5 career. I constantly desired to be my own boss to have freedom over her time and finances, so I became an entrepreneur.

I had always loved baking and experimenting with new delicacies since I was a teenager. When I was looking for something different to do a few years ago, I realized that nothing could be better than pursuing her own passion for baking and making delicacies. That’s when Shreena’s Sinful Temptations was founded. Sinful Temptations was born when family and friends appreciated her homemade fusion treats that I put together for a tasting session.

Nothing makes me happier than envisioning a flavor and design for an item and then bringing it to life. I believe that I wouldn’t be able to accomplish anything without challenges. I sees challenges as opportunities to stretch my creative muscles. Our Brand unites the client’s vision with our expertise to create mouthwatering delicacies. By merging traditional Indian sweets with classic western desserts, It preserves traditional Indian sweets and keeps them alive in the minds of millennials.

The problems I solve for my clients is that i can create fusion desserts and delicacies which are egg-free and gelatin-free. I also help the client to create personalized desserts and delicacies to fit their occasion and theme.

What sets me apart from others is that I have a diverse set of recipes which help create some unique fusioned delicacies which are one of a kind incorporating our traditional Indian sweets.

I am proud of my journey so far because I was determined and knew that with hard work I will be successful.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

When I decided to turn my passion into a business, I started doing my research and noticed that within my primary area there were many other individuals providing similar services and therefore i thought I may not be able to have a successful business due to all the competition. However my husband challenged me to get started nonetheless.
After launching and working with a few clients i quickly started to understand that there was enough market for all of us to thrive.
So the one thing I learned from this experience is that sometimes we have to put the logic in the back seat and go with our faith and belief that we will succeed provided we are willing to put in the action.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

My best sources of new clients has been some of my clients to whom I am grateful that they refer me and the word of mouth when my desserts and delicacies have been served at different events,
