Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Shree Kalidass. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Shree, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My ultimate goal is human advancement in every form. Trust-less systems and permission-less interactions, which have reached their apex in human interaction, will pave the way for decentralisation.
I learned at a young age that humankind’s greatest tragedy is greed and hubris; they are the only consistent impediment to humankind’s progress in a constructive direction.
The industrial revolution has produced many giants with those qualities and made the common people their subjects. With complete decentralisation, no intermediary is needed for networking or any form of human transactions.
My motto is always:
Don’t assume control over power that was never yours!
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
About two years ago, the idea of blockchain astounded me, to the point where I decided to switch careers and become a blockchain specialist instead of a medical professional.
This choice has allowed me to lend a hand to a wide range of business owners, heads of departments, and other leaders who are seeking to expand their operations by taking advantage of blockchain technology.
As someone who takes great pleasure in figuring out difficult situations, I make it a point to always look for answers to questions and remedies to problems.
I’ve helped:
Experienced marketing experts to harness the strength of NFTs to allow brands to form strong community presence among their customer base.
An international rapper to produce a highly profitable NFT collection that enabled him to build more connections and provide his fans with a medium to be a part of a community.
Multiple business owners inject blockchain technology into their pre-existent business model that increased sales by over 200%, simultaneously beating their competition.
Scams, or “rug-pull” as we call them, have been observed since the launch of Web3, but think of them as the equivalent of a sculptor chipping away at unneeded materials while creating a masterpiece.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
In order to start over, I needed to forget all I’ve learned thus far. I came from the biological sciences but now I swim in the ocean of technological stacks and data analytics.
However, I was able to draw a direct connection between what I understood and what I was going into by reversing my previous learning.
Even though I hear this message repeated frequently, what nobody ever seems to mention is that a fresh approach to learning is required for the process of unlearning and relearning. Putting the pieces in place and connecting them together are two different things.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Every time, I picked kindness. There is a significant gap between innate kindness and choosing kindness.
Giving without expecting anything in return is how I became skilled in my craft and connected with influential people in numerous fields. Selfishness lies in the happiness I have when I am generous to others. My loved ones constantly asked me if I ever felt like others were taking advantage of me. My sentiment is simple: if I give without expecting anything in return, no one is given the power to take advantage of me. Furthermore, my ultimate goal is to provide assistance to those who are struggling be it a competitor.
I never worry about how my competitors behaves, in my opinion the ability to turn competition into collaboration is a strength and I take great pleasure in helping others however possible. However, I will not stand for someone spreading lies or trying to swindle others.
As a modification to the Hippocratic Oath, my motto has always been: “Do no harm, but take no shit”.
