We were lucky to catch up with Shiloh Baby recently and have shared our conversation below.
Shiloh, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
Most meaningful project is my most recent that I worked on which is a Mixtape called “Forever12” which I dedicated the whole tape to my brother who died this most recent October. The mixtape is full of songs that I feel like mostly symbolizes him and what he stood for and it’ symbolizes how far I’ve come since the tragedy and how it effected me overall. The Mixtape drops May 14th which is his birthday and that’s my present to him he always wanted me to drop a tape and he was well invested in my music so it’s only right I dedicate it all to him .

Shiloh, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
21 year old artist from Doyline, Louisiana which we call it the village. I’m a upcoming artist and I always say music has always been my passion. Since a kid I can still remember always having a passion for music. When my world collapse music was the only thing still standing for me. My style is different and I often like to switch things up for myself I come with a painful melodic flow but can also get gritty when needed on a song the biggest thing that sets me apart from artist is I don’t sound like anybody. A lot of upcoming artist sound like eachother or their favorite artist , I sound like myself and I’m opening a whole different lane up for the music industry. A big thing to is everybody rapping about the same stuff , everything I speak on is real and people can relate on a personal level it’s a wave full of pain that I’m putting in the spotlight.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
To me meeting people is the most rewarding from fans to other artist each person can make a impact on your life or you can make one on theirs .
: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, I’m trying to succeed for my family and my lost brother family . I wanna get in position to bless the people I love and be able to put them in position I’m not in it to be famous I could careless about who likes me or don’t I just wanna be the reason everybody doesn’t have to struggle nomore.
