Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sherye Bradley. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Sherye, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
The most meaningful project I’ve worked on thus far has been my photobook. I’ve spent the last two years in my photography journey intentionally capturing photos for this book. One of the reasons this book is meaningful to me is because it says I’ve been here. It’s apart of the legacy I want to have showing the beauty that I see in the world. Another reason this book is meaningful to me is because I’ve been able to experience, explore, learn, and inspire. But what I think truly makes this book the most meaningful project I’ve worked on is that it was inspired by my family, how their story telling inspired me to explore, and wanting to be able to share my experiences.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
One of the reasons I call myself an artist is because I’m not just a photographer. I tell stories in many ways. I take photos, fly drones, sell prints, t-shirts, calendars, and will be releasing photo books soon. In addition to working in sports as a Broadcast Director and Associate Director for live events. Something that sets me apart as an artist is that I’m able to express my creativity through different outlets. I want potential clients to know that I love to interact with them. It’s one of the reasons I prefer messaging instead of purchasing my art through a website. What I’m most proud of as an artist is that I’ve had my artwork displayed on a billboard showcasing the stories of Atlanta.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
The main goal driving my creative journey is documenting and sharing the beauty that I see in the world.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me there’s a tie for what is the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and creative. One, being able to inspire someone to be creative. I love when someone tells me my art inspired them to try something, seeing the passion they have, and how their creative venture results. The other is someone telling me they see beauty in something that I’ve shared.
