Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to SheRon Knight . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
SheRon , appreciate you joining us today. Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?
Earning a full-time living would be a dream come true. Achieving my creative goals, having more time to brainstorm, and creating amazing content for the world to see. With my current position in law enforcement, I’m not always able to give my time to my creative side due to the demands of my field of work. The goal is to wake up, create content, inspire others, and create a positive atmosphere for everyone to learn and thrive in.

SheRon , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is SheRon, but usually, people call me by my stage name, “Trey.” I reside in Lexington, South Carolina, but I’m from Hemingway, South Carolina. I got into this industry in my early teens. I fell in love with being in front of the camera and being able to create fantastic art through pictures. How does the famous saying go, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” I feel that you can experience the passion, the pleasure, and the pain within a photo. Emotions can be conveyed and reach out to many through just one photograph. I took this craft seriously, and I treated it with respect. All art, I treat with respect. Like any job, like anything in life. You have to gain knowledge and continue to advance and apply yourself to get better at your craft. I rarely studied posing, but I understood the importance of getting your poses down and effectively using them in certain areas and environments.
I want the clients that book me to understand that I’m going to give them the best work that I can, that I’m open to creative ideas, I like to hear feedback and input. I’m open to constructive criticism to ensure I’m bringing the best out of me. Even though I model in front of the camera, I like to understand how to operate behind the camera so I can adjust my movement, my posing, and my angles. Clients appreciate my open approach to creating. I like to make a fun environment where everyone enjoys themselves. I want to see everyone laughing and having a good time. If my client is having a difficult time with something, then I try to give constructive input or a suggestion off of my experiences with certain situations to better help with the flow of things and make sure the client is getting the best product. My work ethic speaks for itself. I’m always looking for ways to top the last photoshoot. I’m looking for ways to grow and exceed expectations before me. I bring ambition, hustle, drive, motivation, creativity, and respect to this field of work.
The Marine Corps taught me to adapt and grow in environments where it may seem impossible to achieve greatness. We understand Rome wasn’t built in one day. My career in this industry wasn’t built in one day. I’ve experienced highs and lows, but I wouldn’t trade it in for anything. I’m proud of my connections with other creatives in this industry. I’ve been featured in various published magazines across South Carolina and the globe. I was named Columbia Fashion Week’s 1st Top Male Model back in 2021 and currently serve as a board member in the company as well. I’ve appeared in several music videos and have been conducting more branded videos to push brands and sponsorships out regarding health/wellness products, clothing products, etc. I’m currently a Co-Host for the Beyond The Bell Podcast. I bring a lot of experience to the table, whether behind the camera, in front of it, or on the mic.
I look forward to elevating my brand and continuing to grow. I welcome like-minded individuals to create and advance with me in this journey. Let’s continue to create art and showcase our talents to the world. Art is love, and we are art!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal and mission is to make it into this industry as a full-time entertainer. I know this journey isn’t easy and hasn’t been easy, but I learn more every day. I want to help others who don’t know where to start. I started as a freelance model, and I knew I needed more to grow and be seen by others. I want to inspire others to be themselves and to allow their creative minds to flow. It’s not just about being on the big screen or worldwide creating success for myself. I want to show others the way in this industry. Breaking those stereotypes and going after our goals and dreams even when it seems impossible.

Have you ever had to pivot?
When my mother passed back in 2016, it destroyed my mindset. My creativity took a big hit, and my mother was my driving force for being in the entertainment world. I felt that without her, it was pointless, and there was no need for it. She was my light, and I felt there were no more positive things to showcase in my art. Until, I pivoted into my new season of healing. Art and modeling were my healing. I took my pain; I took my joy and placed it into my work. Even through my pain, my art brought me through and led me to better days and even more opportunities.
