We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Shennell Estrich. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Shennell below.
Hi Shennell, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
You! Yes, you reading this — you’re the reason I do what I do.
As a kid, I always felt an inner pull that I was meant to be a healer — to help, protect, and be a voice for others. I’d sit in front of my bookshelf writing out plans and ideas, not knowing how it would all come together, only knowing I wanted to make a difference.
Over the years, I tried many things, but nothing spoke to my spirit like juicing did. What some of my friends called “extreme” — a 100-day juice cleanse — became the moment that changed everything for me. I didn’t start juicing to build a business. I started juicing to heal.
Those 100 days of nothing but cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juices didn’t just transform my body — they restored my soul. My constipation and narcolepsy began to improve, but even deeper than that, I began to feel again. Sitting alone with a jar of juice and tears running down my face, I realized I’d been using food to silence my emotions for years.
Juicing forced me to face myself — to sit with the things I’d buried and finally begin releasing them. When I shut down food, I broke down the walls I’d built as a kid, and something in me came alive again.
That’s when I knew this wasn’t just about juice. It was about light. Because juice doesn’t just cleanse your body — it helps you illuminate your light on the inside, one sip at a time.
Because of my passion for juicing, people would often suggest that I open a juice bar or start a juice truck. Honestly, those ideas overwhelmed me — I didn’t have it all figured out, and truthfully, I still don’t. But every time I juiced, I could feel that I was meant to do something with it. So I started with what I had.
I began doing events — my first one, I didn’t even have a business name. I was just “The Juice Lady.” My friend signed me up, and before I could even process it, my spirit said yes. That’s how it’s always been for me — my spirit drives, and my soul follows, dragging my body along the way.
I didn’t have a storefront, a truck, or even a roadmap — just vision and faith. And that was enough. Every event, every bottle, every late-night juice session reminded me that something bigger was being built through me. I may not have the storefront yet, but I know it’s coming. This journey has always been spirit-led, and I trust that each step — even the small ones — is preparing the foundation for what’s next.
As things grew, I formalized the vision and created Str8t Clean Juice. I became a Certified Juice Therapist and Holistic Wellness Coach, but still, something felt incomplete. My clients loved the juice, the kids loved the juice — but there was a deeper connection missing.
Then my spirit spoke again — and OHR JUIC3 was born. Because it’s more than just juice… it’s light in liquid form, illuminating your body one cell at a time. And the more “Yous” who are able to awaken that light within, the less darkness we have overall.
At least that’s how I see it — doing my part to help others light up, in their own space, in their own time, with a bottle of OHR JUIC3.

Shennell, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Shennell Estrich, a Certified Juice Therapist, Holistic Wellness Coach, and the founder of OHR JUIC3. My work is rooted in one mission — helping people reconnect to the light within themselves through the power of raw, living nutrition. OHR JUIC3 is where science, spirituality, and soul meet in a bottle.
It’s more than just juice — it’s science, it’s spirituality, it’s matter, it’s light in liquid form. The next time you drink a bottle of freshly cold-pressed juice, pause and feel your body come alive.
That’s what OHR JUIC3 is about — awakening the light within. The name “OHR” means light in Hebrew, and that meaning sits at the core of everything I do. In full, OHR JUIC3 really means Light Juice — because juice is, at its essence, light in liquid form.
OHR JUIC3 isn’t just a product line; it’s a journey designed to help people reconnect with their bodies and their energy. The brand stands on three pillars: Ground, Grow, and Glow. Each represents a phase in the process of internal restoration.
Ground is for beginnings — it’s gentle, sweet, and approachable. These blends, often made with apples, roots, or tropical fruits, introduce your taste buds to the world of fresh juice in a way that’s comforting and enjoyable.
Grow is where transformation begins. The juices in this phase balance sweet and bitter profiles — because growth happens when your body starts doing the deeper work. This is where we re-train the palate and let the bitters build our strength.
Glow is the activation phase — where your mitochondria come to party. These juices lean into those nutrient-rich bitters that cleanse, detoxify, and awaken your inner light. Here, we drink for power, not just taste.
At OHR JUIC3, you can pre-order any juice from the phase that meets you where you are. Our website guides you through the journey — helping you explore where your light currently is and where you want it to go. For those wanting to dive right in, our OHR Light Kits make it simple to start your journey without all the fuss.
Ultimately, OHR JUIC3 exists to help people illuminate from within, one sip at a time. Every bottle is a small reminder that your body already knows how to heal — sometimes it just needs a little light to wake it up.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
When I think about resilience, I think about the courage to keep showing up — even when you have no roadmap, no storefront, and no clue what you’re doing, but you know your spirit is saying yes.
My resilience story began long before OHR JUIC3. Back then, I was still running my business as Str8t Clean Juice. I had never done events before, and the thought of being in front of people made me nervous. But something inside told me to start where I was. So I said yes — yes to the tables I didn’t feel ready for, yes to the opportunities I didn’t know how to handle, yes to showing up even when fear whispered “no.”
Those early events stretched me. They put me face to face with strangers who became supporters, with challenges that became teachers. I did community events with elders, children’s summer camps, back-to-school drives, and even a corporate wellness event that stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. Each experience reminded me that my light belongs among the people, not behind a counter. The juice was the bridge — but the connection was the purpose. Every time I stepped out of my comfort zone and into those spaces, I learned that resilience isn’t just about persistence — it’s about presence.
Looking back, those moments with Str8t Clean Juice were the soil that allowed OHR JUIC3 to grow. Every ounce of fear I pushed through became fuel. Every event that felt small built a foundation of faith — and birthed a new version of me… a lighter version.
Resilience, for me, is obedience — saying yes to the call even when it’s uncomfortable. Str8t Clean Juice was my training ground. Because I chose to keep showing up there, OHR JUIC3 now gets to illuminate.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What’s helped me build my reputation the most has been presence — not just being seen, but being felt.
When I first started as Str8t Clean Juice, I didn’t have a storefront, a team, or a clear plan. What I had was passion, purpose, and a small setup that could go wherever the light needed to be shared. I showed up at community events, summer camps, and corporate wellness programs — places where I could connect directly with people. Those experiences taught me that my business wasn’t about transactions; it was about transformation.
People didn’t just taste my juice — they felt the energy behind it. That’s because I’m deeply intentional about the energy I bring to my work. If my spirit isn’t right, I don’t juice — I pause, reset, and realign before I even touch the produce. My space is sacred: the music I play, the energy I allow, even who I talk to while juicing all matter. I believe energy transfers, and I never want to hand someone a bottle that carries anything other than light.
Over time, those connections became the foundation of my reputation. I wasn’t just “the Juice Lady” anymore — I was someone who reminded people to take care of their light. That connection is what made the transition from Str8t Clean Juice to OHR JUIC3 feel natural. The brand evolved, but the heart behind it stayed the same.
Now, when people see OHR JUIC3, they don’t just see juice — they see light, purpose, and consistency. My reputation was built one sip, one story, one conversation at a time — and that’s exactly how I plan to keep glowing it — one sip at a time.
