We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sheinia Morgan a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Sheinia , thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
When it comes to my career branches in the beauty and skincare industry, Being an esthetics is one of the most exciting, flexible, and lucrative you can pick and is one of those careers that has a meaningful purpose, much like the rest of cosmetology. I had this business in mind when I launched my skincare brand I knew I didn’t Just wanted to offer products I wanted to be the key to unlocking someone’s confidence, helping my customers and clients to meet their skincare goals, and just elevating the way they feel and think about themselves.
I choose this career because I knew it was a fabulous choice for me and I wanted to continue to improve my skills, add services to elevate my client’s and customer’s experiences based on the new and exciting trends and techniques that surface.
That why it was important for me to develop a relationship with my clients! Being able to communicate well with my customers was the start to good customer service and I knew If I wanted them to keep returning and scheduling frequent appointments, I would have to make my clients feel more welcome, understood, and heard. Through good communication skills was the reason I was able to give clients proper advice and recommendations for products which I formulate myself from my skincare line “Tbeauty Skin” I am the on who does all the advertising for my business and so this means communication through social media, video content and book writing through My Beauty Entrepernuer’s Handbook ” which is necessary in growing my business. I am always interacting with people on a daily basis, so if I had prefer not talking to people, this would not be the job for me.
Another part of having great communication skills is listening.
Have you ever had a someone replicate your exact vision and that desired you always wanted? Maybe you had an opposite experience, where you felt like He / She wasn’t listening and the end result wasn’t exactly what you had hoped for. It is so important to listen to your client and do all you can to understand their needs. Clients are more likely to leave positive reviews if they feel valued by you .
As an Estheticians I love understanding how the skin works & I enjoy helping people look and feel their best, stay updated on the latest products and trends in the beauty industry, and find joy in witnessing the positive transformations in my clients’ skin and confidence.



Sheinia , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Sheinia Morgan Jamaican Born. The Founder and CEO of Tbeauty Skin & Spa a Jamaican Entrepreneur . My business was launched 2020 during the global pandemic right after I lost my job working as a secretary It was a bittersweet moment while at home; but I manage to pull through thus far because of my ambition, drive passion & persistence. I started by selling hand sanitizer to local banks, barber shops, bars, & pharmacies while taking the opportunity to promote my business in small groups and doing street advertisements. I then decided I wanted to offer more products & services to my customers so I venture of in the Beauty & Skincare Industry.
I was born with creative talents even though I had never been in this industry, I knew I had a passion for the beauty industry so I started to do my research and made Google my best friend which led me to do some online courses learning how to formulate skincare products, hair growth & more.
It was very important for me to formulate organic/non-toxic skincare products not only for myself but clients & customers due to my allergies, my health has always been my #1 priority & when creating my line of natural organic products, I think how these will make everyone face & body absorb with only natural ingredients without causing any allergies, allergic reactions and harm to their skin.
Everyone now has testimony from customers, clients, and retailers who are all satisfied with my line of products that satisfy their beauty & skincare needs. I am a very confident person who is always assisting other people to look their best so they can increase their confidence and self-esteem. When a person feels pampered, looks, and feels fresh while having that healthy skin is one of the best feelings.
My products are now available locally & internationally at Oliver’s Pharmacy, Queen’s Supermarket, Barbados, England.
The road to entrepreneurship is often a treacherous one filled with unexpected detours, roadblocks, and dead ends.
There are lots of sleepless nights and plans that most of the time don’t work out. The funding that doesn’t come through and customers that never materialize. It can be very challenging to launch a business that it may make you wonder why anyone willingly sets out on such a path.
Despite those hardships for me since I started my brand, I continue to embark on my journey because I am determined to bring my vision to fruition, I am very motivated and passionate about my brand because I love what I do. I tell myself every day that I will be a successful Entrepreneur.
I formulate non-toxic skincare products for my customers & clients also a variety of unique treatments, and signature services to satisfy my customers & client’s needs. I have been in business for a few years; having a comprehensive background and extensive experience working in the beauty & skincare industry.
I then decided I wanted to offer more products & services to my customers so I venture into the beauty & skincare industry and started formulating non-toxic skincare products for all ages and skin types. These products include anti-aging face serum,cleanser, face & body scrubs/masks, soaps, hair growth products, and more.
I am proud of my personal growth as an entrepreneur because one of my greatest accomplishments is knowing that I am helping to create a more open, honest, and confident marketplace, by giving customers the ability to research and educate themselves without having to rely on just one’s advice. Being able to offer others what I saw was missing and a need for in the space is something I’m very proud of.
I will continue to grow and appreciate the blessing which push me to attend exhibitors’ shows & business events that got me motivated to host my first brunch with bosses’ event for business owners & entrepreneurs here in Jamaica bringing together leadership in the industry is well needed in today society where everyone can unite great for networking.
I am currently going to schools educating primary students about getting into entrepreneurship as an adolescent covering the ins and outs, and giving advice, guidance & encouragement in sharing my passion with others.
What set me apart from others as an entrepreneur for me is that I get to be fully committed to sharing what I love the most and passionate about with others has shown me how much more I can accomplish. Because I am passionate about everything despite the challenges and obstacles that come with starting my own business.
The journey is fun, exciting, and full of adrenaline but I am very grateful for the opportunity to be building this business on my own doing what I believe in. “my favorite thing about being an entrepreneur is that I get to be part of something I believe in. The spa services I provide are services that I love, and it’s so fulfilling to be able to bring them to those who need them.
Making a difference in others’ lives through something I care about has been an absolute joy for me.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I build my audience through social media because of my consistency and that is the key to building an authentic and trustworthy online presence. I ensure that my message , branding, and tone of voice align across all platforms I use . This has help me to creates a cohesive and recognizable personal brand that my customers and clients have trust.
My advice to entrepernuers just starting up is to be transparent and genuine provide valuable content , engage with your audience and showcase your expertise.

Every Business Owner wants to attract new customers and clients.
What has been the best source for me is networking with the attitude, which helps me build relationships that lead to new customers.
