Sheila “Nefertiti”, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear how you think where to draw the line in terms of asking friends and family to support your business – what’s okay and what’s over the line?

Unfortunately, I always been the type to not ask for help. I’ve Always been that way since I was younger, always been independent and that “get it on my own” type of person. I understand that people have their own lives to live and most people have a lot going on so me asking someone for help when their probably struggling helping themselves is just pointless for me. BUT, I do appreciate those who support my movement and add on to it without me having to ask them. I also figured that if I don’t ask for help then It will leave no room for feeling hurt or disappointed whenever someone doesn’t support if I were to ask them.
Sometimes people don’t support because it’s not their vision or business so they don’t care enough about it to do so, sometimes people don’t support because they have a lot on their plate and can’t do so & and sometimes people don’t support just because they don’t want to see you succeed… so hey
But again, for the ones that do see my movement and support it without me having to ask weather it’s a simple repost, word of mouth, donation or helpful hand I’m more thank thankful and grateful for it.

Hello, My name is Sheila but Most people know me by Nefertiti. I consider myself an Influencer , Marketing Guru, Healthcare Advisor & TV Actress. I’ve worked with a lot well known people in the music industry & film industry. I also helped out/Advised small and big business owners which help elevated their businesses as well as strengthen them. I’ve been on a few well known tv shows that were on major tv networks & did a few global commercials.
I’m the owner of UCollection Boutique & I Co-Own as well as manage a few airbnb properties.
My Genuine & Energetic personality is what attracts people to me and regardless of my looks my business mindset is what surprises people the most. I honestly consider myself a Jack of all trades because I’m universal in a lot of areas and knowledgeable in them as well.

How did you build your audience on social media?

VISUALS,VISUALS, and more VISUALS! I always been big on good quality VISUALS. I learned that the more good creative content you create and post along with having good visuals to post on social media always attracts the right people. Weather it’s pictures or videos either one has to SELL.
Their is so many ways to market and brand yourself along with your business without having to spend much, you just have to improvise and make the content sell to the audience.
I normally write out a treatment on how I want to market and brand myself and my business, then see how I can get some good quality photos and videos done for a reasonable price (you can ask for collaborations or Trade for trade work or do it yourself), find the right hashtags and captions for when I post on my social media pages and go from there.
Once I see the reaction I’m getting from my followers then I can see what I need to work on or move forward with….

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

She is ME lol I had to put my shyness to the side and step outside my comfort zone without worrying about what people thought or had to say about me because at the end of the day most people are going to have negative things to say weather your doing bad or good…so hey
Once I was able to overcome them and build myself up with more self confidence it was UP from there.
