The Inspiring Journey of Shawn Huber: A Lifelong Commitment to Wellness Shawn Huber’s journey into the world of wellness and personal development began at the tender age of 12 in a local fitness center. What started as an early fascination with exercise blossomed into a lifelong passion that not only shaped his career but also his desire to help others achieve their fullest potential.
After discovering his love for fitness, Shawn pursued a degree in exercise science and wellness, which laid the foundational knowledge he needed to embark on a multifaceted career path. His education led him to massage therapy, where he gained insights into the human body’s complexities and the critical importance of recovery and care.
For 25 years, Shawn was a personal trainer, dedicating his life to helping others improve their physical health. But his ambitions went beyond just physical training. Eighteen years ago, he expanded his services to include life coaching, recognizing the deep interconnection between physical health and mental well-being. His clients, ranging from athletes and CEOs to entrepreneurs, have reached unprecedented levels of success under his guidance, breaking barriers and achieving goals they once thought impossible.
In his quest to offer a holistic approach to wellness, Shawn founded Structured Freedom, a company designed to empower individuals by focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. Three years ago, Shawn added another layer to his comprehensive service offerings: hypnosis. Through Structured Freedom, he continues to innovate and inspire, proving that with the right mindset and support, anyone can overcome their limitations and strive for greatness in all areas of life.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Twenty years ago I was diagnosed with cancer during a routine surgery. The surgeon was a friend of mine and he was shocked. My CT scan was done on Christmas Eve and I was told I hade stage 3c testicular cancer. This was not a good thing. I sought out the best doctor, who was Larry Einhorn. My treatment started after the New Year at UNC hospital in North Carolina. I had 4 moths of treatments. The schedule was one week on every day for 8 hours straight. Then one week off and then back on. Talk about grueling. People asked me why I had so many doctors. They were my clients coming to see me. I also worked the first month. At the same time I was doing Chemo I also was doing holistic treatments which the doctors yelled at me for. To bad, my life my rules. When I was finished, I was cancer free and a little more. The scare tissue I was suppose to have was non existant. The doctors wanted my holistic protocal because of how well I had healed and my quick recovery. So here is the most important piece. I was told that I would never have a biological child. Guess what? My daughter will be 14 this September. This is where the Mindset piece really became a huge part of me and my quest to help other people.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
I thing what is most helpful is to look for the success stories and see what the simularities are with them. You also need to be very thorough in asking questions to see if you and the potential client are a great match. Also, being passionate about learning more and applying things that will help you, your business, and your clients.
