We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Shaun Sinclair. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Shaun below.

Shaun, appreciate you joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

To be successful, you must have vision, discipline, and determination. For example, I honed my vision while serving 13 years in prison. I maintained my vision by being disciplined enough not to fall into the dangers of prison, and determined to accomplish my goals.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I began as an author. I created my own genre of books called Gangsterotica, which is erotic crime fiction, and started my company Pen 2 Pen Publishing. I sold 30k books before being signed to a major publishing house, Kensington/ Dafina. From there, I rebranded my company as an author services company to help independent authors put out quality books. After making a mark in the publishing industry, I shifted my focus to film as a Director and Producer. To date, I have wrote and produced 3 films, and 1 documentary. My latest film, “The Setup” is currently streaming now on TUBI

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I built my reputation on consistency and being accessible to my clients. Also, I’m always learning the next big thing in my industry.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

You have to lead by example. Show your team that you wouldn’t ask them to do anything you wouldn’t do.
