We were lucky to catch up with Shatora Adrell recently and have shared our conversation below.
Shatora, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
For me, it was deeply personal from the start. My brand began as “Adrell”, which is actually my middle name. It felt elegant, bold, and powerful — everything I wanted my work to represent. But over time, I noticed a lot of people confusing it with “Ardell,” the lash brand, and I knew I needed to make a shift that would truly reflect *me*.
That’s when I embraced my full identity: “Shatora Adrell”. Shatora is my first name, and combining the two felt like reclaiming my narrative. It’s more than a brand — it’s a reflection of my journey, my creativity, and my evolution. Every time someone says the name, they’re speaking *me* into the world, and that means everything.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Of course — here’s the updated version with a clear and meaningful section about the problems you solve and what sets you apart:
—
My love for fashion began on weekends, watching runway shows with my mom. It was our special tradition — a quiet spark that stayed with me. Funny enough, I never planned to become a stylist or designer. I had other dreams, but God had His own. Over time, He brought it full circle.
Today, I bring that early inspiration to life through styling and design. I’ve worked on red carpet looks, major music videos, editorial shoots, and with clients who want to feel seen, powerful, and unforgettable.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t just style clothes — I style *energy*. I solve the problem of invisibility, of not knowing how to express your identity through fashion. Whether it’s a high-profile event or an everyday moment, I help people step into rooms with confidence and presence. I take time to understand each person’s essence and translate that into a look that tells their story without them having to say a word.
What I’m most proud of is building a brand rooted in authenticity, intention, and divine purpose. This isn’t just fashion — it’s transformation, storytelling, and stepping fully into who you are.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and creative is the transformation I get to witness — not just in the clothes, but in the people. There’s something incredibly powerful about watching someone light up when they see themselves fully expressed, confident, and unapologetically bold. Knowing that my vision, my hands, and my heart played a role in helping someone feel *seen* — that’s the real reward.
It’s also deeply fulfilling to take what once lived only in my imagination and bring it into reality. Whether it’s a styled look, a design, or a concept, the process of creating something from nothing is a constant reminder that purpose and passion truly do collide in the most beautiful ways.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with my clients by building real relationships — not just transactions. From the very beginning, I prioritize connection. I listen, I check in, I remember the little things that matter to them. Whether it’s through personal follow-ups, exclusive styling tips, or a simple message just to say I’m thinking of them, I always want my clients to feel valued and seen beyond the work we do together.
I also foster brand loyalty by delivering a consistent, elevated experience. Every time someone works with me or interacts with my brand, I want them to walk away feeling inspired, confident, and cared for. For me, loyalty is earned through trust, intention, and genuine care.
