We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sharon Robustelli. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sharon below.
Sharon, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents have been a huge inspiration in shaping how I live my life and approach my work. From my mother, I learned the importance of a strong work ethic — the idea that an honest day’s work deserves an honest day’s pay. From both of them, I saw firsthand how to create my own “luck.” They were my earliest examples of entrepreneurship. Alongside her day job, my mom made and sold crafts, and bought fashion accessories wholesale to sell to her friends and co-workers. Meanwhile, my dad launched several businesses over his lifetime, ranging from a wholesale lobster supply company to a pioneering biotech venture.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I founded TEN3 Public Relations in 2019 with the belief that we could “PR” anything. With over 25 years of experience spanning multiple categories—from entertainment to household goods—I’ve probably have “PRed” just about everything. But once I opened the doors, I realized our true purpose: we began to attract clients who were a lot like me—professional women who have succeeded in various aspects of their lives and are now on their founder journey.
These women need a partner who shares their passion for building something from the ground up and nurturing it. They also share a common goal: to serve women and families through the products and services they provide. At TEN3 PR, we specialize in helping female founders elevate their brands and establish their authority in their industries.
We do this through a range of services, including media relations, thought leadership, multicultural marketing, social media strategy and community management, and influencer programming.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been committing to my niche: helping female founders elevate their brands and establish their industry authority. Throughout my career as a marketing communications professional, I’ve worked with clients in a wide range of industries—from sports and entertainment to beauty and wellness—but I realized I couldn’t be everything to everyone. When I wasn’t clear on who I served best, I was essentially saying, “Hire me because I’m here,” instead of, “Hire me because I’m the right partner to help you make your mark, gain credibility, and position yourself as the authority you are.”

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Staying connected with clients even after a project wraps up is something I find essential. It keeps me on their radar for future needs and makes it easy for them to refer me to others in their network. One of the ways I do this is through my weekly email newsletter. It’s packed with practical tips on building a personal brand, from getting press coverage to crafting social media strategies that truly stand out. I also highlight some of the incredible work I’m currently doing with my clients, sharing their wins and the unique ways I’m helping them grow.
