We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sharon Grenier a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Sharon thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

Coffee Connections started as a catering company with a mobile coffee cart in 2014. We opened our first brick and mortar shop in the heart of downtown Old Hilliard on September 10, 2016.

Sometimes our passions can turn into our career. That is exactly the case for Coffee Connections. We had a strong passion for coffee and for people, and combining the two was the obvious next step.

We focus on not only on always delivering you a quality cup of coffee, but also on building relationships with each and every one of our customers. Nate and Sharon Grenier moved to Hilliard in 2013 with one mission in mind: to connect with people through a quality coffee experience.

They relocated from Royersford, PA and changed careers in order to make this mission a reality.

As a young family they understand the challenges life can present and believe God never intended for us to live life alone. Now along with their four children, they’re proud to call Hilliard their home.

Together they strive to use one cup, one relationship, one eternal impact to make a difference.

but I think we are just people who want to help people! We donate 100% of our tips and partner with 12 other local buisnesses to make our shop a reality.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?

We are transparent. We connect via social media and emails– and we share our REAL reality. The ups the downs. The hardships of being a business owner; and parenting; we keep it real. Relatable. AND encouraging.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?

Care about people. REALLY care about them. Take the time to get to know them.
