We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Shardaira Jones a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Shardaira, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
Rev luxury juice bar is a new and innovative juice bar in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan Shardaira Jones our CEO had her start when she launched her first very own health and wellness business in 2021 called MAKEQUEEN Shardaira went on to open a Fitness studio and later rebranded to Rev luxury juice bar. She then opened her first location downtown. One of the things we offer that sets us apart from other juice bars is our Anti-lush sober nights where we invite in the sober and sober curious community to have a really great time we offer various handcrafted Mocktails, and the vibes so this night is 100% free of alcohol and 1000% vibes!

Shardaira Jones, a health and wellness powerhouse, certified as a nutritionist, and personal trainer and hit the ground running with innovative and tasty products like fresh pressed juices that are locally sourced, salads, açaí bowls, smoothies amd so much more.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Just 2 days after opening the Matriarch in my family the woman who took me in at 3 and raised me, my mother figure passed away. This was a hard pill to swallow as I battled with celebrating a win while also facing a major loss.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Giving permission to outdated narratives.. when you are on a trajectory of winning when God has positioned you to impact the masses when God has position you to be a change agent in the way we see our food being our medicine there’s going to be darts thrown your way there’s going to be Nay sayers. There will always be people who want to run in the opposite direction of everything you’re working for, Showing up and taking space unapologetically is something I didn’t know I had permission to do and now that I am here, I won’t have it any other way.
