Alright, Shaquoya thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?

The legacy I am hoping to build is to be the owner of my own brand and company. I want to leave behind a legacy of being a #1 Best Selling Author, Director, & Business Owner. I think people would say I am very kind, smart, driven and that I never gave up in life. I hope to be remembered for my smile, good advice, & all the ways that I’ve helped others.

Shaquoya, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hi everyone I am Shaquoya Johnson. Author, Care Manager, Entrepreneur and mother of two beautiful girls. I started as an independent Author in late 2022. After experiencing a tumultuous 3 year marriage. I decided to write my first book called “A Fool For You” (Loosely based on a true story). I am still currently working as an independent author with 6 published works on Amazon. I provide graphic cover designs, & ghostwriting services. I am a domestic violence advocate and motivational speaker. I solve many problems for my customers some of which are consultation appointments to answer questions they may have on what services they would like provided. I also help my customers by uplifting and motivating them. Working with my customers are not just about providing services but offering moral support and showing that I care about their dreams. What I think sets me apart from others are that I am not just an author. I’m a motivational speaker, domestic violence advocate, and have the knowledge and resources to help others in different fields. I am most proud of my resilience to continue doing what I love to do and having the ability to grow from within my company. What I want my customers to know about me are that I’m a fun, loving & caring person. I’m also no different from anyone else. I am simply a woman pursing her dreams and helping others pursue theirs along the way.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

The particular goal that drives me in my creative journey is to become my own boss. I’ve worked very hard my entire life and finally found what excites and makes me happy. My goal is to retire while continuing to live my dreams so that I can enjoy my life with those I love.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect about being creative are watching your dreams come to life. It’s an amazing feeling reaching other people in the world and seeing what they enjoyed most about something you’ve decided to share with the world. It makes me feel great knowing others enjoyed my books after spending a lot of time and hard work on them. It truly gives me a feeling of satisfaction and helps me continue to strive for greatness.
