Alright, Shante thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Our mission is to educate women and men on natural and Vegan products! Our natural products can heal skin conditions and boost self confidence! You don’t have to break the bank to get the healing your skin deserves. You can have it all……just WITHOUT the costs!

Hello! My name is Shante Wilson and I am a mom of 9 beautiful children, 2 sets of twins in the mix! I’ve always had a curiosity as to why do people use products with ingredients that they cannot pronounce, let alone, what would be the benefits or side effects even, of that particular ingredient. In my research, some of those ingredients can do more harm than good! So, I’ve decide to create products that are all natural, and Vegan, and produce real benefits to help cure the skin and its condition. My brand, SJW Luxe Collections, is a skincare and beauty line that educates all of our customers to see what their particular needs are, then to execute it! Create a product that specifically aid in their skincare and beauty needs. Finally, we promote! We put it out there to let people know that you can heal your skin naturally the way that it was meant to be! Taking care of your skin does not have to be expensive, it does not have to break the bank! You can have all the luxury looks and feels…..just without the costs!

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I have quite a few kids….lol. So, my priority is THEM! My son had a really bad case of cradle cap. I took him to his pediatrician and they prescribed to me a topical steroid to clear it up. After reading all the side effects of using steroids, I was skeptical about using it, but I did. After a few days I didn’t notice any improvements. Instead of me taking him back to his pediatrician, I decided to create something that was all natural, and will heal my sons cradle cap. Went in my lab, and that’s where the “magic” began! I created this serum treatment that I used on his scalp 24 hours before washing his hair. I did this for 3 days! In 3 days, I’ve seen a BIG improvement! With ny determination, I was able to aid in the healing of my son’s scalp!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I’ve always had a pretty good presence on social media. To grow my presence even more, I started creating polls, asking different questions regarding skincare and beauty. To my surprise, I received a lot of feedback! I interacted more with my friends/followers, started adding videos on my platform of how o made my products, started educating on what each ingredient will do for the skin, and answering questions! From there, it was up and stuck!! My advice for those just starting to build social media presence will be to be consistent! Post, post, and POST! Share your pictures, engage with your followers and ask questions!
