Hi Shannon , thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Monday, I was in a car accident with my 2 daughters with a semi Truck, The semi truck hit us going 60 MPH right in my car where my daughter Kyra was sitting. Again the semi truck was going 60 mph fast. An angel in car changed the way Kyra was sitting so she was not killed upon IN packet. Kyra took a helicopter to HCM Downtown Minneapolis. Jaydalin took an ambulance to HMC. I took a helicopter to HCM. My brain was swelling. HCM took out a large portion of my skull to help with the swelling. People all over were praying to Jesus for us! Jaydalin was able to go home after 2 days, healthy. In the hospital daily I kept getting worse. On Friday, 5th day, 5 neurosurgeons, brilliant Dr.’s had by doing their best to save my life. I was barely alive. There was nothing else neurosurgeons could do for me I was a living vegetable, in a coma. So 5 neurosurgeons came in my room to explain to Jason his options. Either move me to a hospital I can live the rest of my live as a vegetable or unplug me. Meaning death. They recommended unplugging my equipment. Explaining as time went how hard it would be keeping me alive as a vegetable, coma on many levels. Jason chose to have me go to another hospital where I could keep living and Jason would keep praying. Kyra was coming out of her coma after being in it for 5 days. Kyra had a list of things the Dr.s thought would be an issue. Things like memory. As she woke out of her Dr induced coma she looked at her grandpa from out of state and said Grandpa Terry thanks for coming to see me. Meaning she had her memory! Thank you Lord! Kyra started therapy and Jesus kept healing Kyra. After being in the hospital 2 weeks, Kyra got to go home healed. Same day Kyra went home I took an ambulance to Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul MN. All the testing was the same. I was a vegetable in a coma where I was going to stay the rest of my life. That was my reality. People all over kept praying for me a mom of 4 kids. Kids were praying. Friends had prayer walks. 11 weeks after being in my coma I started to wake up. Thank you Jesus. Then I started therapy. I was in a wheel chair, I only could eat food with a tube feed, I talked so quite and it didn’t really make sense, my memory was rough. I couldn’t remember how to say the word spoon, black bird, what should of been easy words for me to remember. I had to work through relearning to walk, eat food and lots in memory.

My heart cares for you. I love people. Lets chat, lets pray together. There is positive in your challenges, in your junk. Lets find all the positive in it, Its there you just need to choose to see it. Our Jesus is miraculous. He is a healer. He can do ALL things. Impossible is not impossible with Jesus Christ.

How I got into this, speaking at events and writing a book. Death was staring me down. I was right there for 11 weeks close to death then coming out of my coma. Learning to walk so I was not in my wheel chair, relearned how to eat food so the tube feel could be removed from my stomach, therapy and lots of homework on my memory to remember easy words like spoon, dinner. So knowing that it’s POSSIBLE TO WIN, when this earth shows you will loose and its all negative, that is not true! I can’t keep that to myself. I have got to speak on it and call it out. That’s a lie, there is HOPE in Jesus. YOU GOT THIS! You can do it. I believe in you.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

To write my book. Against All Odds Jason and I didn’t have the cash to write the book. My parents and Jason’s parents ended up helping Jason and I have all the cash to publish the book.

Speaking, When I speak at different events in the US or Jason and I speak together usually the event pays for me to travel to that event in that state. Each event is a little different. Bottom line I want to share my story I don’t do it to make money. If there is an event that would like me to speak but its tough budget for them lets chat and come up with what will work for them.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Built audience or social media, this is an area I need to grow in. I don’t want to keep this to my self but I don’t really now how to utilize social media and get the word out there. Speaking or buying the book, It has spread by word of mouth. I would like to learn how building my audience by using social media.
