We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Shannon Dill a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Shannon thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
I took a risk on myself. I never thought that music would be one part of my life’s story, but it became the whole journey. I took a risk at investing time, money, mind, and skill into music. It has now been crafted, and developed into more of a destiny for me.

I first got into the industry and business of music around 2021. As I developed, I got a feature shoutout from super producer Zaytoven. As time went on, I began to seek out more accomplishments and accolades in my journey and career as a musical artist.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
When starting out doing music I began funding everything out of my pocket. I had a job. My job made enough money for me to be able to create the songs that I have done so far.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One lesson I had to learn, is there aren’t really that many friends in the industry .
