Alright, Shanikka thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

I’ve always been the type of person who offered solutions to friends, coworkers, or relatives whether it be spiritual, personal, or perceptive on a range of context. Being resourceful and well rounded  is a asset I’ve mastered . It allows me to quickly develop innovative, beneficial problem solving techniques. I recognized the need in the Self Care Industry and created the  Brand Insightful Sister which describes me.The mission is to provide intentional in depth tools to make a difference,  within the Mind ,  Body and Soul.

I am a creator extremely crafty handcrafted , detail oriented , computer and business savy.As well as career driven preferably the healthcare field reasoning why? LIFE IS SCIENCE ! Most importantly a mother .I was introduced to mindfulness techniques ten years ago. Now currently crisis intervention .In an effort to perhaps awaken others.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

Yes, the lesson I had to unlearn is, Do not advertise to just anyone. Attract like-minded consumers who are interested in what Insightfulsister stands for. I am not in business to serve everyone. And I am alright with that! Knowing my target audience is very important. The process of marketing has taught me to develop the ability to become particular with who can benefit from the creations of the Improvement journals. Furthermore, the organic skincare items is a general audience.
