Shaniece, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
Back in 2015 I started working out with a friend and felt myself becoming nearly addicted to how good it made me feel. Around that time I had also became more aware of my family’s history of high blood pressure, diabetes, and other food-related health issues. The reality that I was high-risk for these same issues ignited a spark to become proactive in changing the narrative for myself.
It wasn’t long before I started to see amazing results, both physically and mentally. The changes I had made in my day-to-day routine led to a huge shift in my overall energy level as well as my confidence. I felt so vibrant and alive! It became so clear to me that when we prioritize our physical and mental health, we are also naturally building up our self-esteem and passion for life, which then flows into everything we do. The stronger I began to feel, both inside and out, the more I felt a desire to help others do the same.

I’m virtual High-Performance Fitness & Lifestyle Coach who empowers busy professionals to step into success through my 1:1 fitness training & lifestyle coaching.
Thus, Bloom by Shaniece was born, a blog specifically designed to share content that would help women grow and embrace their true potential. I later began to work with professionals from an multitude of backgrounds in helping them not only to lose weight but also to encourage them to live an all-around healthier lifestyle and create work/life balance. With training and coaching sessions specifically tailored to individual needs, I empower my clients by informing, supporting, and celebrating them in making big changes as they embark on the journey of living their best lives.
Through Bloom Academy, my mission is to help women train their mind and body. We need the energy and mental clarity to be strong, healthy, and beautiful from the inside out. That takes a strategic mindset and a unique game plan for fitness and life. Let me help you create the boundaries and live with purpose and courage.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
In 2016, I started my blog, Bloom By Shaniece, with the goal of sharing content that would help women grow and embrace their true potential. The more post I made, the more emails I received asking for my advice, which brought me so much fulfillment. I love being able to help people; it’s genuinely one of my passions.
I have partnered up with Booty Band and Barbell, I’m their athletic coach for their app.
I’m also executive Fitness and Lifestyle coach for Brainz Magazine.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Not really a lesson, but something I always have to remember when times get tough.
In business, there will always be obstacles. The difference is how you react and deal with it. Do your best to view obstacles as an opportunity to learn and cultivate. The growth mindset is the only thing that’s going to keep you in the game. My go-to quote when I need a reminder: Success is 80% psychology and 20% mechanics. —Tony Robbins
