Shameka , appreciate you joining us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started sooner or later?

Yes, I am at the point of relaunching my company. I first started my company right before Covid and was building clientele, and due to lack of confidence I went back to work. Even though it was Covid, I wish I would have started my company full time two years ago. I started my company to first education small business owner and minority on the importance of keeping good financial record. I also wanted to families how to budget no matter what financial status. When I started this journey, I realize that a lot of individuals did not file taxes and added taxes to our services

The Burrellz Enterprise is not your normal tax and accounting firm. We provide each customer, whether they are a company or a person, with tax services as well as financial or accounting advice to help them achieve financial success. We assist people and company owners in locating techniques and procedures that will enable them to make financial savings in both their professional and personal life.

My background is in accounting, payroll, and tax.

I made it where I am today, through hard work and consistency. Since we cannot fulfill our aspirations and objectives in life without hard effort, I firmly bear in my mind that hard labor is a person’s true treasure. Nobody can succeed without putting forth a lot of effort. It begins when we give up seeking workarounds or quick routes to success. We must always keep in mind that success cannot be achieved quickly. The only surefire method to obtain the achievement you’ve always desired is via hard effort combined with a strong determination to suffer and succeed. One of the keys to our success in life is hard effort. The only way to alter your life from a curse to a blessing is through hard.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

Last year on August 24,2021 I had to pivot my life due to Covid. I was ready to relaunch my company and after I ended up having Covid, my husband ended up getting as well. But his was worse, he was sick and earned three weeks in the hospital. We had to pivot our family and life for 6 months so he can heal properly. But by the grace of God he survived, and we are now learning a new norm in business life and career.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

One best reputation you can build is referral. Most of my client that I have serve comes because my client refer them to me. This help me build my reputation in the market as well, because if you are doing good work, customer make marketing easy.
