We were lucky to catch up with Shaman Tiers recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Shaman, thanks for joining us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
Currently Working on my Comic Strip PsychoTherapy an independent yet ambitious endeavor, I’ve so far not seen much success but I have gotten praise for it mainly the artwork in some of the commentary in it which for a comic is the entire appeal, the artwork and writing. At the time of writing this I was rejected by Andrews McMeel Publishing a day ago, who’s editing department, liked the concept of my series and wished me luck in the future despite my work not currently aligning with there line-up of books.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Mainly I freelance, working on my comic and animation ideas right now, haven’t gotten anything published by have gotten praise for my work as I mentioned before do to the artwork and writing. My comic strip PsychoTherapy is over a year old now since I first begun and I’ve gotten alot better at making it, also working on an animated short for not to get it serialized but just for fun, The pilot chapter original comic “The adventures of Goken” Or “Goken” an action sci-fi series is halfway complete but I haven’t released it yet.

Success, it’s usually the driving factor for anyone who is currently successful in any industry, there’s only two kinds of people ambitious people and people who sit on the sidelines watching the ambitious unfold.
