Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Shalini Breault. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Shalini, thanks for joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
A defining moment in my entrepreneurial career was when my angel prayer was accepted for publication in a multi-author collaboration book.
Why this is a defining moment for me is because after I left Corporate America and New York in 2006, I landed in South Jersey to reinvent myself. I found myself on the spiritual journey of self-discovery.
The first spiritual exploration was studying and learning about angels. I have loved angels since I was a teenager. I also credit the angels for saving my life and bringing me to safety on 9-11. My connection to and belief in the angels is deep and strong.
So, to no surprise then, I was an enthusiastic student of life and dove deep into exploring the angelic kingdom and energy.
In Spring 2014, I was on the beach just staring out to the horizon and with my journal in hand, I started to write. I kept on writing. I didn’t know where the words were coming from but the urge to continue writing was strong and clear so I kept going.
I read what I wrote for days afterwards. It was beautiful. My brain however needed to know why I wrote it and what was its purpose.
In Summer 2014, a few months later, I had lunch with a trusted friend. We were talking about angels and how their energies were showing up for us in our lives.
I had the writing piece with me and I finally had the courage to ask her if she would read what I wrote and to give me feedback. She loved it and said this is a prayer! I was surprised however I trusted her.
A few days later, I received an email from a mailing list I don’t remember signing up for requesting angel prayers for submission! My jaw dropped! If my head could’ve exploded, it would have!
I submitted it. It was accepted and published. And this was the start of my author journey. Since then I wrote in 3 other multi-author collaboration books. I also wrote 2 children’s books of my own – Hello Sun Moon and Stars and Do You Believe in Angels?

My spiritual journey of self-discovery turned into my deepest calling for self-mastery – to know thyself!
I do a lot of healing work – movement, energy and sound healing. I bridge ancient healing with modern medicine.
Reiki energy healing, sound healing and yin yoga are complementary, integrative and preventative methods to western medicine for optimal health and wellness. These holistic modalities help bridge science and spirituality to heal at a cellular/soul level.
Whether I do reiki, teach yoga, guide meditation, play my sound bowls or create magic beads for prayer and meditation, it is all to access and remember your soul essence.
My mission is for you to heal your heart and free your soul. I hold this belief for both my individual clients and my corporate clients.
I am often told – very often actually – that my very presence is comforting to the heart and calming to the soul.
I am here to help you unlock your soul’s blueprint.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn that I have no artistic talent or gift. I told myself I am not creative, not musically-inclined and not a writer. All the things I told my younger self, as you can see, are incredibly untrue.
I am not a writer.
In my English classes in school, we were often asked to write on a topic from our point of view. So, I did just that. I was great in following directions. I expressed my thoughts and feelings on a particular topic and it always came back with all these comments in red ink and would often get a ‘B’ or ‘C’.
This never made sense to me because it’s MY point of view. I followed all the directions and had excellent grammar and punctuation skills so how can someone grade MY expression and truth!
I am not creative.
The same went for art class. I followed all directions given by the teacher. So how can someone grade MY flower pot painting with a ‘B’ or ‘A-‘ when it’s MY expression of art!
I am not musically-inclined.
In 3rd grade, all the kids were signing up to play an instrument. I wanted to play the drums. My parents said no as it was not an instrument for girls. So, violin it was! I did NOT enjoy the violin at all. I actually made up a story to my teacher in an attempt to quit but my parents came to find out and I played until I graduated high school! What a nightmare!
As my journey to self-mastery would have it, I turned these limiting untrue beliefs to limitless authentic ones.
I believe all is possible! I believe this for everyone – not just me. We are limitless.
We, the People, are MAGIC!
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
What has helped me the most growing and expanding Swan Goddess is my trust, faith and belief in God/Spirit/Universe. Swan Goddess is a co-creation with God for the highest alignment for the collective.
Other than training/knowledge:
1. Trust your intuition – this is a message from Spirit.
2. Pay attention to the signs of the universe – in the form of animals, birds, insects, numbers, etc. – this is a message from Spirit.
3. Listen to your heart – this is the whisper of your soul.
4. Lead from your soul – this is co-creation of your heart, soul and Spirit.
