Shakira, appreciate you joining us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
I greatly appreciate and, love each and everyone of my clients. I often give out free services to clients, as well as discounts on hair services. I strive daily to often show my appreciation to my clients. Due to, they are the reason I’m where I am today!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

How did you build your audience on social media?
The way I’ve grown on social media, is finding an social media marketer to run my page for me. I would pay them monthly to put out content for all my social media platforms. Social media has become one of the top business marketings in the world. You have to stay relevant to grow. Hash tags also help to grow your brand as well.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
When I decided to become an business owner, I knew it would some up and down moments. Of course I never thought it would get extremely low. I remember for almost 1 month, I didn’t truly make any money for bills. I wanted to give up, I wanted to throw in the towel. I thought to myself, I’ll go back and, work in Corporate America. Where I’ll have a steady income! I then prayed to God and, asked God to see me through this difficult time! God if it’s meant to be, please see me through this! I had to have faith that everything would work itself out. He did just that! Faith or FEAR!
