Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Shaka Judah. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Shaka, thanks for joining us today. What was the most important lesson/experience you had in a job that has helped you in your professional career?
Intentional Self reflection is a fundamental key to living a higher quality if life
Shaka, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
From practices i learned from my time in service with the military and as a personal trainer. I built a 6 week system to coach others on ways of introspection so that they may find a means of being better connected with their highest selves.
I accomplish more of my favorite accomplishments on a regular basis by serving my tribe. This seems random but I am also a cage fighter and my accomplishments in the cage are also some if my highest achievments.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I was making over six figures working my job as a kitchen renovation sales manager but it did not align with me. I made the. Change into becoming a Mixed Martial Artist. The field of MMA gave me greater levels of happiness and fulfillment
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn that there was a finality to success. Meeting a goal always means that you would have to set another goal to relentlessly pursue. My life’s goal was to purchase a home, after that it was to become a championship fighter, then it was to become a championship coach. Regardless of the goal, even if I achieved it happiness comes from pursuing and learning new things.
