Shaimiya, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Succeed is a verb and success is a noun. Without one there is no other way, so in order to be successful you have to succeed FIRST. Being successful comes with determination, strength, gaining, losing, feeling discouraged & frustrated. Yet, excited, inspired, motivated and encouraged at the same time. Putting in a tremendous amount of work ethic, being dominate and dedicated to your craft is the first step to being successful. Never giving up is the “HOLY GRAIL”! It’s normal to feel pessimistic but the key is to stay confident. 80% mindset and 20% action. We can all walk a path but the question is “Which path”? Stay focus and driven!

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been “Customer service”. I can not explain how important word to mouth is! Learning to show interest in my clients as they show interest in my services is a major deal. A lot of business owners lose out on clientele by not being sufficient and personable. Yes, You have a business, Yes, you work for yourself but you have to stay humble and punctual. You and 5 other close friends can sell the same exact item(s) but if 1 out of 5 are upholding their business at a high level (Great customer service, in stock items, communicate effectively, always warm & welcoming). While, the other 4 treat they’re business as a “back of a trunk” side hustle instead of a LLC. Many of my clients return for new services and even refer family and friends because they trust the work I provide and the customer service I give. No customer wants to feel pushed, displaced or not needed. 1. Greet 2. Introduce your company 3. ask questions if needed 4. Attend to client needs.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Accumulating clients may not always come quick, especially being a new business owner. I personally believe social media has been a GO TO for many business owners. You can be in the comfort of your home behind a laptop working and speaking to clients out the country or in the next state over. If you eat, sleep & breath your business changing your social media from personal to business would not be an issue. Remember, you want to be noticed and able to reach. Creating clear content, sales and results are key attraction per new clients.
