We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sha Swazey. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sha below.
Sha, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
Well it was a day I was listening to beats when I found the instrumental Chris brown back to the crib and I thought that would be a good instrumental to write a song to and I wrote one and recorded myself on a phone and thought that I was going crazy, my uncles came home and told them I wrote a song and I played it and my uncle told me that I was good the only thing I needed was a flow at the age of 12, that’s something I would never forget is what made me start it from there but until this day he doesn’t know he the reason why I’m making music now .

Sha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Im just an music artist who once was a kid who had tons of idea, and did what he wanted to do and love to do everything he do especially when he puts his mind together to actually do it, kind of like a jack of all trade that done a lot I mean I came from 1 parent home who was trying to figure things out with siblings I’ve got into the music because I was good at it, couple people also thought the same and started taking it serious and as I learned sometimes you have to put your soul into this music stuff, learned the music part of creating then now the business aspect of it and now I’m just going full force, most things ive learned being an artist that you can influence other whether its your team fans or other music producer and artist, what set me apart from others is that I’m real and raw and authentic more just to say I’m just me . most thing I’m proud of and I say to myself everyday is that I’m glad I never quit and ive been through a lot like most and I’m glad I never gave up on all the things I ever wanted to do its no such thing as you can’t do it just have to keep going and be patient I’m glad ive took the time to learn things for better understanding so I know what I’m getting into to anybody that follow my journey and be free what ever you feeling express it and let it out its always gonna be ‘ its the feeling that I get “

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Lesson that ive alway learned Is always believe in yourself no matter what its is that do.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
my goal is to build my own community very strong & to uplift others. in anyway, with my music or just conversations
