SevenStones, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of the toughest things about progressing in your creative career is that there are almost always unexpected problems that come up – problems that you often can’t read about in advance, can’t prepare for, etc. Have you had such and experience and if so, can you tell us the story of one of those unexpected problems you’ve encountered?

Multiple band members quitting before a tour(s) or immediately after a tour, because they didn’t want to travel. The band began is 2016 with the 4 original members. There is only two of those members left now. First drummer left for personal reasons, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th drummer couldn’t travel. One of the original guitarists quit because he didn’t want to travel. The second guitarist quit because he couldn’t handle the lifestyle of a touring band. This has all been disheartening because of 4 of the 5 leaving before a big show or tour, with little or no time to prepare with a fill-in.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I have always really loved music but did not begin writing songs or music until college. I am proud of the fact that even though members have changed, that there are still people who chase the same dream as I do. I have always wanted the listeners/crowd to connect with me through our music. All of the band members still have day jobs and work blue collar in blue collar industries. So, we know what it takes to work all day and then go perform for fans that come from the same background. We have spent our hard-earned money to go see bands that we love and want to give the attendees to our shows a break from their work week and connect with them on the same musical level to brighten their day.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

People buying tickets to see us perform and hear our music. Hearing the crowd sing our music back to us is the best.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.

There is no security, and we are betting on ourselves to make it succeed. With the little success that we have had, helps us to know that our goals are attainable. We Will NOT Quit!!
