“A Miraculous Transformation: A Baby’s Journey from Torticollis to Triumph”
Imagine a mother’s anguish as she watches her baby struggle with torticollis, visiting specialist after specialist with no improvement in sight. The only option left is a daunting surgery to cut a muscle in her tiny infant’s neck. But then, a chance encounter at a party on a Saturday, my wife introduces her to me to check the baby’s neck and offer a gentle, non-invasive solution.
On Monday the mother brought her baby to the clinic, with a steady hand and a caring heart, I adjust the baby using the Atlas Orthogonal instrument. The baby responds well, but the head remains tilted. Discouragement sets in, but we continued care.
Then, on the third visit, a breakthrough! The mother notices her baby moving his neck for the first time while driving. Improvements continue, and soon the baby is keeping his head up and taking his first steps in the clinic, that was amazing!
Fast forward ten years, and the once-struggling baby is now a happy, healthy young boy, laughing and playing like any other child. Humbled and grateful, I witness the young boy playing with his friends at a party, a miraculous transformation and now I know that sometimes the most amazing stories unfold in the most unexpected ways. What a blessing!
Serge, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Dr. Serge Sautre discovered chiropractic care in 1985 after suffering a severe whiplash injury while driving to a tennis tournament near Paris, France. Despite medical treatments and rehabilitation, he was unable to play competitive tennis. Chiropractic care made a significant difference in his life, inspiring him to become a chiropractor. With a deep understanding of patients’ experiences and the body’s alignment, he dedicated his career to helping others.
Dr. Sautre’s education includes an undergraduate degree in Science from the University of Paris VI, France (1989), and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life College, School of Chiropractic, Marietta, GA, USA (1994). He also completed Elite Athlete Preparation at Life University International Sports Training Center (1994) for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics
As a board-certified Atlas Orthogonal chiropractor, Dr. Sautre has extensive experience. He directed the Life Chiropractic Olympic Clinic in Costa Rica (2000-2001) and served as a sports chiropractor for professional tennis players and coaches. Currently, he is in private practice in Metro Atlanta.
Dr. Sautre is passionate about community service, providing care to professional tennis coaches and athletes, and lecturing on spinal health, stress management, and injury prevention in metro Atlanta. He is a board member of the Association For Catholic Chiropractors and a dedicated family man, married to Paula, a former WTA professional tennis player, and father to four daughters and a son.
Dr. Sautre’s humanitarian work includes participating in health promotion programs through Life University and presenting Neuro-Spinal Hygiene to the NGO Health for All Initiative in Geneva, Switzerland.
