We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Senub M. Rah a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Senub M., looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
As a father I think about this quite often. To leave a mark, to leave a legacy for those who come at me regardless if there related or not, Is the one thing that I really do strive for. As of right now I want my legacy to be a guide for those who strive to create. And by creating I mean whatever thoughts or ideas do you have in your mind I wish for you to bring them out. I don’t believe in limitations. I don’t believe people should be limited. If you have more than one skill, I believe you should hone it, sharpen it, and provide it to the world by giving value.

Senub M., love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well, for starters let me introduce myself. I am Senub M. Rah. Born in Norfolk Virginia, raised in Binghamton New York. Moved to Houston Texas at the age of 14 and I’ve been here ever since.
It was around that tender age when I understood that the ideas in my mind I could bring out. From visualizing scenes of movies, to seeing ideas for photos. I knew that one I wanted to write direct and produce my own films, and that I wanted to perfect photography..
I built my brand as a multi media company. I write shoots and direct my own scenes, and scenes for other businesses. And I’m also a very well-known photographer in the Houston area. In fact I’m one of the most creative minds within the Houston area. You can quote me on that.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I think a time where every business, and everyone had to pivot is when the pandemic struck. Because during that time no one really knew what to do. So as regulations such as social distancing, wearing masks etc. I had to adjust to the new laws and regulations. So from a lot of on hands consultations in productions, I had to do majority of my work from home via zoom. Honestly it wasn’t really all that hard to pivot. I just had to make sure to Abide by the new regulations, for my safety and others.

How did you build your audience on social media?
All right so when it comes to how I built my social media Audience, in the beginning stages I did a lot of promotion. A lot of marketing. I would make videos and content that was relatable to the people that I was targeting. Do you know the demographics. The more creative I got, the bigger my audience became.
