Alright, Sejal thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?

My Legacy WILL BE built around the core values of my business and come from my character and reputation regarding who I am and what I’ve done to help others. Coaching is my passion! When you are passionate about something, you don’t mind eating, breathing, and sleeping it. Coaching for me goes even deeper than the desire and devotion to advise and guide others. I absolutely love it and strive for my clients and potential clients to see that by just looking at me, talking to me, or hearing me speak. I’ve always known that my mission would be to help others; by that, I mean help in any way possible. This is why I started Endless Consultants and Life Coaching.
My goal is to help you overcome any mindset blocks that you have and help you reach your full potential. That is my legacy!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I am the Corporate Human Resources Director for an international engineering and construction consulting firm, where I lead corporate HR Department activities nationwide. As HR Director, I oversee employee relation issues; manage and administer employee benefits; stay current on changing regulations and requirements affecting HR; and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting. In this job, you must be proficient in corporate communications, resource management, and leadership skills and be able to provide recommendations and feedback to senior leadership. I have a love for HR, and I thoroughly enjoy my job.

Resilience is about adapting to difficult or challenging life experiences, especially through mental, emotional, and behavioral flexibility and adjusting to external and internal demands. No day in HR is ever the same and you honestly don’t know what challenges may come up or what fire you’ll have to put out daily. In HR, you deal with everyone else’s concerns, problems/issues, complaints, requests, etc., all while balancing and maintaining your own. These things can be difficult to navigate, whether it’s onboarding or offboarding, employee relations issues, or strategic moves to better my department or the company. I have to push through daily regardless of what is going on. Each day may bring a new challenge, but I stare at those challenges in the face and am not defeated by them. This illustrates my love for the field and my resilience to withstand adversity and keep going.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

A lesson that I had to unlearn is that I can help everyone. I’ve mentioned already that my mission is to help others, but I had to realize that I can’t save or help everyone even if I tried. However, I will help as many people as possible IF they want to be helped. I also had to learn that I won’t be for everyone, which is fine. I may not be the best coach or consultant for you, but I am for someone. I don’t say “yes” to every client or potential client unless I know I can help you.
