Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sebastian Rodriguez Caballero . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Sebastian thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Visiting new countries and traveling around the world is one of my biggest dreams in life. 2 years ago, I decided to buy a one-way plane ticket to Brazil not knowing what my future was going to look like. When I got there, I fell in love with the place, the people, the food, and the culture. Traveling by yourself is always risky and scary, at times you may feel alone and as if you don’t belong, but how are you to experience life without risking it all? I like to say that I live to the fullest by taking those opportunities and risks that life puts in my path. Go out, meet new people, new countries, new cultures. It’s so worth it!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hello! My name is Sebastian Caballero, I was born in Mexico, I am 25 years old, and my story begins this way. All of my life, I have been into motivating others, for them to fulfill their goals, in Mexico, I had quite a few projects. One of them was selling fruit, one was my clothing line, and another one was my Youtube Channel. My journey has not been easy. When I was 21, my family moved to Jacksonville and I was forced to stay in Mexico due to my education.
After many anxiety attacks and ups and downs, I decided to change my future and my life. After 2 years, I was able to. visit my family for the first time, but then Covid-19 changed our world. I had to return to Mexico and go through all of the quarantine by myself. During this time, I learned a lot about myself and those around me. After much thinking and knowing that I needed a change of scenery for my well-being, I decided to book a flight to a new country. Brazil was my destiny.
I met incredible people that influenced my life in such a positive way, I saw beautiful places, and I did things that my 8-year-old self would be so amazed by; things that I had always dreamed of doing. After six months, I was again forced of leaving the country. Because of how sudden this was, I was in shock, but the only thing that seemed right was going back to my family who I had not seen in over two years. This past summer I was able to go back to them in Jacksonville and visit Orlando and Miami, two beautiful cities that I was very excited to get to know.
Fast forward to today, I am back in Mexico for a little while planning a trip to Colombia and wondering what my future holds. My entire life I have dreamed of traveling around the world, meeting new people, seeing new places, and hearing news stories. I just hope that I can fulfill my dream of making my family and my 8-year-old proud of the person I’m becoming.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I believe that the ability to express my true self is one of the most rewarding parts. Having those platforms where I can just be myself and know that there are people out there like me that enjoy my presence even if it’s through the screen. Also, having the ability to make those connections with people is one of my favorite parts; I believe we all have stories, and every story matters.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I always knew that I wanted to share content with people. One day I decided that I was going to take the risk and go for it; so what if they laughed at me, so what if people judged me?! I decided to stop caring and I started posting content on social media. From Instastories to TikTok, I began creating content that would brighten people’s days, by simply posting my day-to-day life to motivational videos, to comedy videos I wanted to give back to people. A piece of advice for someone wanting to build their social media is to not be scared of what people might say, just go for it and enjoy the journey!
