Sean , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.
One story that comes to mind is that of a customer who booked a golf vacation in California with their family. Unfortunately, one of the golfers had hurt themselves at one of the courses and could not play the following day. This meant I had to find a way to balance the scales for them to keep the fun going. After making some phone calls, I was able to get them a refund for those missed rounds.
They were very thankful, as well as very surprised that I did everything in my power to make sure they would enjoy their remaining vacation to the fullest. However, I say this because I believe it’s essential to find all types of solutions to problems as fast as possible for your customers, who are expecting the best services from you.

I started Golf Trip Junkie in 2004 out of passion for this amazing game, and ever since, I’ve helped thousands of people create their perfect golf vacation to enjoy with their friends or family. We provide customized golf vacations to people who are interested in enjoying the game, regardless of whether they are beginners or seasoned players. Golf Trip Junkie collaborates with some of the most luxurious resorts across the country to ensure our customers relish premier services in between golf rounds. At the same time, we go to great lengths to not charge our customers ridiculous prices for the services we offer, which makes booking a golf vacation through us more affordable for those on a budget.
While some of our golf vacation packages include specific destinations and golf courses, as well as the place where players will stay overnight, customers can request a customized vacation with the golf courses they’d like to play in a certain area and the resort they would like to stay at. I believe what sets Golf Trip Junkie apart from other similar businesses is our passion for the game and the seriousness and involvement with which we approach each request for a vacation. So, one of the main ways we keep in touch with our clients is via telephone. It might come as a surprise, but not few are those who actually call us to either express their gratefulness for the fun golf vacation we organized for them or just tell us how their vacation is going. Many of our clients want to book another golf vacation after some time, so they also keep in touch with us.
We try to foster brand loyalty by bringing awareness to our business and being transparent about what we offer. Golf Trip Junkie also strives to engage with its customers on social media as much as possible so as to ensure client retention and get to know their preferences in terms of the golf courses they’d like to play and the resorts they’d like to stay at, which helps us create more popular and sought after golf vacation packages. We also get a lot of positive feedback from our clients on the services they’ve received from Golf Trip Junkie through reviews, which we make sure to read and respond to on a regular basis.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Perseverance is, without a doubt, one of the key factors that helped Golf Trip Junkie grow and flourish over the years.
