We were lucky to catch up with Sean Howard recently and have shared our conversation below.
Sean, appreciate you joining us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents gave me the freedom to explore my curiosities independently and without their influence, while simultaneously offering me unconditional love and support.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m a Brooklyn-based freelance photographer with interests in documentary and portraiture. I started photography as a hobby, mainly photographing friends and family, then I began taking commissions to make photographs for people who were discovering my photographs on social media and through word of mouth.
Over the years, photography has afforded me the ability to travel and connect with people from all around the world. One of the most profound aspects of my artistic practice is that it gives me the strength to live in direct opposition to my natural proclivity to be introverted.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Through my work I am able to see and to also be seen, both of which have helped to mold and shape me into a better human being.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I’m very excited to see how NFTs evolve over the next 5-10 years!
