We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sean Cully. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sean below.
Sean, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?
I think every artist has questioned himself/herself from time to time whether to stop or keep going with his/her passion. It’s tough, and there are many obstacles, but being an artist makes me feel complete, thrilled, and satisfied. It feels great to dive into different characters.
The last time that I thought to quit and get a regular job was 4 years ago, but I’m glad that I didn’t do it.

Sean, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Sean is a Bulgarian-born artist of Turkish background who spent a few years in the United Kingdom before he finally immigrated to the USA. From a young age, Sean’s mother always took him straight to the movie theater after Kindergarten. After seeing amazing movies like Back to the Future, Saving Private Ryan, and Gladiator, Sean’s interest in acting skyrocketed. But he didn’t take any steps to realize his acting career until 2016 when he enrolled at St. Louis Community College – Florissant. There he attended his first acting classes and realized acting was his true calling. Later, in 2019, after he graduated from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in Media Studies, Sean decided to move to California and pursue a professional acting career.
I’m most proud of being involved in Christopher Nolan’s latest movie which started test filming on January 2025. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any details because signed an NDA.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
When people approach me and share their thoughts about the projects I’m involved with. Telling me that they were completely embraced by the storytelling and acting.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The goals are to make people connect and feel empowered by my creative journey.
