Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Scott Steiner. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Scott, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
I love this question and I never pass up an opportunity to brag on my Mom, aka the Legend, aka the Honey Queen, aka Anna! She’s done so many things right and I wouldn’t be close to the man I am without her.
She raised me on her own for most of my life and sacrificed so much for me along the way. This taught me to be resilient and grateful.
She allowed me to try so many different activities and sports and made sure I committed to it if I started it, which stuck with me throughout my life.
She taught me that there are good people and bad people and it has nothing to do with what they look like, where they come from, or anything else. This led to so many great relationships and knowledge.
She has always encouraged me and taught me to stand up for myself, which instilled confidence.
She’s been the best example of a strong and powerful woman. She battles with Lupus and constantly deals with pain, new symptoms, and endless doctor visits. It’s invisible to everyone else and this has taught me many things like being thankful for health and understanding that you never know what others may be going through, so be nice!
I can go on and on, but the last thing she did right was pass on the party gene and the epic Steiner Slap dance moves!
I love you so much, Mom!

Scott, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I got into working in the music industry slowly back in 2017. I’ve always been a huge fan of music, but I wasn’t compelled to get involved until I went to one of Lane 8’s This Never Happened shows. It was a totally unique experience that changed how I look at music. I was immediately hooked and decided to build my life around it. Since this was my first electronic music show, I knew nothing about this scene, so my plan was to go to every show and talk to everyone involved until I figured it out.
Once I had an idea of how things operated, I focused on ways I could contribute to the scene while spreading my newfound love to as many people as possible. Before long I found myself promoting events and later producing some of my own including starting a Silent Disco business. Then I started supporting artists through management, booking, networking events, and consultation services. In 2020, my friend Jameson and I started producing Livestream Charity Fundraisers to support small music collectives from all over the world as well as a charity of their choice. We ended up doing 50 in total and raised over $20k!
When it comes to creating events, I’m most proud of my Rebirth Festival and our amazing team that made it all happen. I’m very grateful and proud to have booked over 170 different DJ/Producers within 3 years and offer opportunities for so many artists. I’m proud of all the artists I’ve had the pleasure of working with and especially proud of Rita, Canvas. I began working with her as her manager and just a few years later we are touring with Clozee, playing at Hulaween, and releasing music with Odyzey and Deep, Dark, and Dangerous. She’s been one of the biggest inspirations in my life!
I want everyone to know that attending shows and festivals is so much more than a party. It’s also, in my opinion, the best place to meet and connect with all kinds of people in a much more meaningful way than usual. It’s also been extremely therapeutic and fulfilling. Finally, I want everyone to know if they see me out anywhere I’d love to meet you and I’m there to help with anything you may need.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
I think the best thing you can do is show up and that can mean a lot of things, outside of attending events, although that’s important too. It can be social media interaction, especially on streaming sites, telling friends about artists and events, buying music and merch,
Your dollar is your vote so spend it wisely!

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Definitely more of a mission than a goal. I have small goals that build up into the bigger mission.
My Mission – To provide resources, guidance, and knowledge that enables artists and creatives to progress and succeed in their artistic passions, and to cultivate a strong, safe, and comfortable community for the lovers of music and art!
I also think it’s important to have and mention core values which are:
– Be a good person and treat others with respect.
– Believe in yourself and have a positive attitude.
– Encourage authentic expression of music and art.
– Promote consent and drug safety.
– Radical self-expression.
– Teamwork and Collaboration.
