Founded seven years ago by a professional with extensive background in operational leadership, Evolytix emerged from a deep-seated frustration. Any advice for managing a team?
I manage a small team of three employees (plus one intern). There are ten key principles I’ve been guided by in managing my team:
1- Communication: Fostering an open and transparent culture.
2-Know your team: understand each team member’s strengths and weaknesses AND working styles.
3- Setting Clear Goals and Expectations: Establishing clear, measurable goals.
4- Delegating wisely: Trusting team memberswith responsibilities
5- Encouraging collaboration: fostering an environment where team members can share ideas and work together.
6- Recognition: (this is huge!) Acknowledge and celebrate achievement!
7-Flexibility and Adaptability: Change is going to happen. Accept it!
8- Promoting a Positive Work Enviornment: Encourage a positive environment, including a balance between work and personal life.,
9 – Invest in Professional Development: Discuss career goals with each team member and explore ways to help them achieve those goals with the organization.
10: Lead by Example (also huge): Demonstrate the values and work ethic you expect from your team.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
